Bought this as a gift for my son. He is very happy with the sound. We were disappointed in the fact you have to have the app to use it. With the app it works great, but you cannot just Bluetooth it to any device. Still recommend it as a fun speaker for your room or to use for a party. The light effect is a nice bonus.

This thing is great for the beach and the park. Bass that you can feel indoors. Clear sound . Smart bluetooth can connect more devices just in case. Party mode plus lights and connectivity.

We got this for softball team. This system is great! Loud, good battery life easy to use. Very happy with our purchase. I do wish it was lighter or had wheels.

We got this for use in our home gym. The speaker is a great size, the bass is really great and the lights with changing colors is an added bonus!

Pros: size, sound, functionality, price, battery life, mic input, can be paired with another speaker, and the added lights to live up the party. Cons: still pending

I've taken this speaker to multiple occasions like: Parties, beaches, and my garage (where I have it playing majority of the time) The battery is surprisingly good, it lasts 2 days worth of work sessions in my garage before it runs out of juice. I can't really tell you about all the other times because i used it in moderation while im out and about but it does not disappoint. You can't complain about the sound because it sounds great. However, the bass is a little annoying but i believe it's only annoying for some songs. All in all it was a good buy.

So easy to use and link with another speaker if wanted! My kids use this in the backyard regularly! Great sound and super loud!

Great speaker. The extra bass really makes a difference. I only have one unit (not connected to others), but that option also makes it very attractive. Convenient to place horizontal and vertical and keep it stable. Battery life is great. I won't recommend this, but I just found out that it some level of waterproof. My daughter left it outside in the rain. I bet it was done, but let it dry for a couple days and it came back to life. Very happy with the purchase.

Great sound and has different lights that look great at night. We use it for the backyard pool days & quite impressed with the Bluetooth capabilities.

Big sound in a big box. Sony came through with the sound quality on this one.

Bought as a family Christmas gift. For an indoor outdoor speaker it has great sound, beautiful lights,and is very portable. Best family gift ever!

Great sound and for the size light weight. Bought 3 for outside use and they sync perfectly. Reminder they are not water proof.

We bought these speakers to allow us to play our FitnessGram music for the gym. They provide great sound & the best part is they are portable giving great us freedom to position the speakers where we need them. Downside is the bluetooth connectivity through the Sony music app is a bit spotty at times & loses connectivity if speakers are not actively playing. Allows you to string more than one speaker bluetooth wise, but sometimes takes a while to connect all together. Other than that, we've been pretty pleased with these speakers.

These speakers are great. I bought two of them for tailgating and they link up very well! They are pretty loud and have good bass. Currently each one of my boys have one in their bedroom and I will get two more so they each have two. They have many capabilities to link to other size Sony speakers and can be hard wired as well! They even have a input for a microphone! Took them out on the boat a few weeks back and it lit up the canals with rich sound and turned heads! Battery life is exceptional and the LEDs are a nice touch

I've had this now for over six months and it hasn't disappointed. I work in the delivery business so I needed something a tad bit louder than the small handheld sized speakers. This thing is sturdy and loud enough for my needs. It's fallen off of the shelf a few times and the only damage it did was crack the plastic on top of the speaker. It hasn't missed a beat and that's why I can recommend it.

I am really enjoying this speaker! I use it inside and out. It has great sound, is super loud and holds a long charge.

Great battery life, great bass, loud and doesn't distort. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the lack of highs and poor off axis listening.
