This speak would be great if it would just keep it's Bluetooth connection long enough to enjoy it. Or if it would even talk to it's other Sony devices...say a Sony TV....but it won't even do that!!! One suggestion might be for Best Buy to elaborate a little on your video ad for this product; instead of so many of the great features that it does have, make sure we know about what it will NOT do. Try it, we can take it....we....your customers are smart people.....we can handle the truth!!

Perfect battery powered bluetooth party speaker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a few devices (Amazon Echo Dot, for example) that can play sounds and music, but would really benefit from having a larger, higher quality speaker. Enter the Sony GTK-XB60. I simply pair it to my Echo, and boom (literally), higher quality, large room filling sound. Better yet, I can take it outside wirelessly and play music for up to 12 hours (I've only tested 4 hours myself, and the battery was still fine). Plus I can use the speaker itself to power the Echo, or charge other devices while I'm outside. Only caveats I can find - the default profile is for EDM music, which muddies and muffles other types of music. You have to download the app to change the sound profiles.

The sound was horrible. The lights were just flashing randomly with no sync to the music. Even lighted speakers from the 80’s/90’s were able to have the lights respond to the sound.
