I like it! You have to tweak the equalizer in the Sony app AND in your phone to get it right for all the nay sayers.... and probably just get two for stereo. Otherwise, for the price.....perfect and great portable design and option to make it non-discrete. Just play good music! Could use tripod connection.

This is probably the greatest buy I’ve ever had with electronics . Had this baby for 4 years and still plays well and battery life is still holding up pretty good

I got this speaker because I had the XB10, and the XB20 so I thought I knew what to expect. I was blown away by how great this speaker is, and I'm definitely going to buy a second one for my workout room!

I'll keep it just because was $199.00 but honestly i expected more coming from such big portable speaker. Not enough volume and no extra bass. I can barely hear the difference when push the "extra bass button"

this bluetooth speak is cool but I like the lights around the speakers parts that just me but still recommend it

Not impressed AT ALL, considering the size of this speaker. I’ve heard MUCH louder and better quality sound out of much smaller and much less expensive speakers before. Pros, it has a cool light show but that’s it! I’m making the switch over to JBL party box 300! It’s much better quality in the sound, has party lights as well, and is actually around the same price as this speaker but 3x BETTER, literally!!!!

This is a nice speaker for the price. Sound quality is good. Great for playing music from your phone or other bluetooth device in the house. My only complaints are that the LED lights become very annoying as they like to stay on all the time. You can't turn them off by default. The Sony music apps could definitely use some work too. They are slow and pretty much useless.

I can't believe all the 5 star reviews for this product. I bought this hoping for an upgrade to my $100 Tailgater speaker. Sadly my Tailgater speaker stomps all over this thing. The Sony has a little more bass but the rest of the ranges mid and high sound muffled. I tried the Bluetooth connection which was appalling and then the RCA plugins which was a little better. But through Bluetooth on my Tailgater is still stomps all over the XB60 with it plugged into RCA. The Tailgater is smaller, louder and clearer than this speaker and will last all day at high volumes. The XB60 will be returned.

Purchased this with high hopes. Charged it and began to play some music. Messed with the EQ to find some good settings. Extra Bass... not even close. Lack of bass and sounds all muffled with different preset EQ settings. Weight is good, Highs are decent, lows are not impressive. Will be returning the speaker. Sony had a great idea but on this one fell short. I have the XB30 and XB40 they both sound better than the larger unit.

I purchased the speaker 8 months ago. Recently the battery stopped holding a charge. There is a 1-year warranty, but the Sony Customer Care Representative from United Radio (Sony's 3rd Party that handles warranty issues) claimed that the issue was with corrosion to the unit... to quote her "something as simple as humidity can cause moisture to build up in a unit, and it’s not something you’d think about." She explained that this was not included in the warranty and that they could return the unit at my expense. Living in South Florida, we deal with humidity. If you don't plan to take the unit outside, it should be fine. Otherwise, find a more reliable product.

It sounds good with pop music for spanish or any other music doesn't sound the best.

The volume to these Sony speakers are low. I can't believe they cost so much and call them high power. I also have the tailgater that is much more clearer and louder than this speaker. Not only is the volume low, the vocals also sounds muffled like if someone put a pillow on your face and you're trying to speak. It is terrible and disappointing. I also noticed the 5 star reviews on here are from Sony employees. When you read the reviews they wrote an article that does not seem like a real person's review. The only thing I like with these speakers is the party chain option, and that requires you to purchase more Sony speakers. And oh yeah, the lights are annoying. They should have given a user friendly option to turn them off. This is robbery by Sony.

Stoped working after 2.5 years. I expect a $350 speaker to last longer. I won’t buy another Sony product.
