Let me just say I have bluetooth speaker before even now before this one I have home audio system etc but this box is soooo loud

We use this speaker when we are outside ny the pool. It has more than enough volume no matter what we are listening to. I would reccomend this speaker.

So over the last 3 days I've been testing out the best bluetooth speaker I've ever tried before. The Sony GTK-XB72 High Power Home Audio System is a beast. This thing arrived just at the right time. Upon opening the box you find the speaker itself (can't miss it because its massive) and power cord to be connected to the back of the speaker itself. Also included is the usual user manual and guides to get you started. But if you're anything like me, you never read the guides because usually (at least for some of us techies) its explanatory. On the top of the speaker several buttons both on the left and right divided by part of the lightstrip: POWER button - doubles as the ON/OFF switch, can place the speaker in standby mode, and/or bluetooth pairing mode. FUNCTION button - this button switches between bluetooth, USB, TUNER (FM), and AUDIO modes. TUNER buttons - to scan Forward or Backward to tune in FM radio stations. CALL button - to answer phone calls and for speakerphone through mobile devices. ADD button - this allows you add an additional XB72 speaker to the mix. Play either LEFT or RIGHT or both speakers together. W.PARTY CHAIN button - allows you to add additional SONY compatible speakers to create a greater sound output and all speakers can play in sync. LIVE button - this can be utilized to open the music up to a wider clearer sound. Almost like at a live concert. EXTRA BASS button - it does just what it says. It brings that BASS in hard. VOLUME buttons - control the volume up and down. On the back on the speaker is AC power cord port, PARTY CHAIN button, USB port, Volume button for a MIC which the MIC port is located right below, and audio ports. Also connected on the back is telescopic antenna for the FM radio. Two companion apps (Sony Music Center / Fiestable) can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhone or Google Play Store for Android. Both apps have a number of features and can also control the lighting effects and displays on the Light Line of the speaker. Audio quality is simply amazing and that EXTRA BASS is heart-pounding. I had to watch it though, didn't want the upstairs neighbors complaining. I recommend this speaker to anyone who is ready to party. It's great for house parties, cookouts, or chilling by the lake.

Great fun speaker for medium rooms either to listen to music or to party. Great system, good quality, durable, and nice.

Buy this speaker for a party and the truth has a spectacular volume syncs fast with any phone and can also be connected to a microphone.

Speaker has really good bass, and I can link this one with another speaker which turns the whole place into a club.

Good speaker, sound isn't distorted. Just wish it came with a remote. We have it on a table shelf and you have to tilt it down to do anything.
