Great sound, love the app Fiestable, terrific this model has battery option, simply impressive. The downside for me is I've been unable to get the speaker to chain with a GTK-XB7 model that it's supposed to be compatible with. Very frustrating in this area. I've tried, had a few friends try, no luck. I can get them to play the same music if I use RCA jacks but who wants to do that?

Run the party from the dance floor using the Sony | Music Center app. It lets you choose tracks, change sound settings and create playlists, all from your phone. The Fiestable plug-in puts you in charge of the light colors and lets you adjust EQ or activate DJ control. Make changes with a flick of your wrist, thanks to the intuitive motion control. Ok Speaker, But The JBL Boombox is Better

I ended up returning it and getting the JBL Boombox. The JBL Boombox has better sound and is 1/3rd the weight. Much more portable. At ~30lbs, you'll need a cart to haul around this Sony.
