I'm trying to build an immersive game room and recently purchased an LG C2 tv (which I love!) and wanted a sound system to match it. People online rave about this sound bar and how amazing it is, so I spent the coin and picked it up. Brought it home, wall mounted it (per the instructions), plugged in the sub, and ran the setup. Then I checked a few audio settings on my ps5, and started playing "Ghost of Tsushima." And... I was underwhelmed. Voices seemed somewhat muffled, as do the action sounds, as though the combat audio was an afterthought that was done poorly. Um, okay. So, I tinkered with settings and tried again. Still not amazing. Tried FFVII remake, one of my favorite games to showcase the setup, and once again, thought the voice and combat audio sounded distant, muffled, and downright crappy. I've spent the last few days adjusting settings on the PS5, TV, and the sound bar, and still cannot get this thing to sound as decent as the polk sound bar that cost about 1/6 the price did. For over $2000 with the subwoofer, this thing should've blown me out of the water. Instead, it has honestly ruined the gaming experience. It sounds so disappointing I don't even want to play right now. I will likely be returning it. Some setup info: Currently I have the ps5 running an HDMI 2.1 to the tv's HDMI 2.1 port 1, and the TV's eARC connected to the soundbar's eARC via another 2.1 HDMI cable. TV is set to passthrough, PS5 to LPCM. This has been the overall best sound quality I've gotten (admittedly, music and environmental stuff sounds great, but the other audio is just so bad...). The room is about 155 square feet with an 8' ceiling. I've adjusted the sound bars settings in every way I could think of and still have not come up with audio quality that seems to compare with my cheap Polk bar. If this is something wrong with my setup, I'll be damned if I can figure out what it is, and frankly, it shouldn't be that incredibly hard to get good quality sound from a high end, very expensive bar.

I think maybe i got a bad port on the sound bar? Two reps at best buy said the same thing and that it should have been enough. I had the sound maxed out and it still wasn't enough. I just bought a brand new Sony TV and the rep's said it could be bad port on the sound bar or the port on the TV. I hooked my PS5 on the TV picked up on it right away. Thank god. The TV would tell me that there wasn't a HDMI connected to a sound bar. So i returned the sound bar and with another popular sound bar and it sounds amazing!

I really wanted to love this sound bar and included surround speakers and sub (which I also purchased), but its not all there. Issues: * Not easy to setup. This is not a set it and forget product. You have to really play with manual settings to get the most out of it, and even then it doesn't top 10 year old 5.1 surround setup I have in the same room * Sound Quality is meh. Music sounds jumbled. Some explosions in movies are muted and lack sheer volume and detail Overall: At over $2000 all in there seem to be better options from Sonos and Samsung. Perhaps I was hoping for more from a "flagship soundbar", in it replacing a dedicated home theater and it just did not do that (the comparable home theater setup I have is 10 years old and cost all of $500...). This just doesn't wow me nor make me excited to listen to music or movies ... for over $2000 it needed to at least make me want to listen to it.
