Drops are a challenge

Tried a bar, but this is much better. Forget the center channel with Sony TV - it doesn’t help, lowers the quality and isn’t needed.

A great system with a great set up

It is completely wireless. No wires to run and hid. It is pure clean sound with a clean set up. A great system with a great set up.

DOA out of the Box

I couldn't get past initial set up. Returned it at the advice of sony support. I was lucky enough to snag one from Sony Direct when they popped up in stock briefly. The actual product sounds great is really amazing. But the quality control to have this many DOA speakers for this expensive of an item is insane.

The center phantom channel did not work too well for me. It felt like the speakers were trying too hard. I went with the HT-A7000 with surrounds for my home.

One of the possible solutions to the issue is by updating the firmware of the Home Theater System for optimum performance and improve stability of the wireless speaker connection. 1 speaker didn’t work right out of the box.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Front left speaker didn’t work out of the box, some how I managed to make it work after pluggin it and unplugging but the LED light that tells you its on never turn on. The sound experience was very good with movies and decent with music, but after 2 days using it the same speaker quit working. Another problem I have is that it doesn’t connect to my wifi so I could not make any updates to the system. I ordered another one to see if I get better results but for the number pf negative comments it will be very hard to find a good one, now I have to wait another week and a half to get another set hopefully that one works if not I save all my money and buy a little vizio bar.

Nice sound but A bit tricky

I have to put where there is a "direct line of sight" Seem it disturb the connection between the receiver to the speaker

All speakers worked for me out of the box. My issue was after turning off the system and turning it back on later, the sound would be off in each speaker, not in sync. I would then need to recalibrate everytime, which i find really annoying. When working, this is the best system i have ever used. The sound quality and immersion really impressed me. I have tried the sony HTA700 and Bose900 to compare. I would recoomend the subwoofer if you could afford one.
