A sales associate talked me into this unit and I like it so much, I'm buying another one when it goes on sale. I'm so glad I spent a little extra money. Posted .Hi Lfoste, Thank you for this amazing review! We're thrilled to hear you like the easy Bluetooth pairing and excellent sound quality of the soundbar. To ensure optimal performance with the subwoofer, please follow the steps below:
Press SW + on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume.
Make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange.
Set the night mode to off.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. Play the built-in demonstration music by following the steps below and check that the sound is output from the subwoofer.
-Press and hold the (TV) button on the Bar Speaker for 5 seconds.
The built-in demonstration music is played.
-Press the (TV) button again.
The built-in demonstration music is canceled and the Sound Bar returns to the previous status.

In order to take advantage of ultra high definition sound your TV must have a dedicated HDMI port for sound as well as two others. Most likely if yourTV has only two HDMI ports you cannot hook it up in this format. You still have the Optical sound output as one option or Bluetooth and it should still suffice

Bluetooth Connection Is the Ticket

This unit is a very nice upgrade if you are wanting to add this to your recent tv purchase or pair to an older tv, so long as it has bluetooth capabilities. I set the sound bar on the head board of our bed, it sounds amazing!
