I bought this soundbar to simplify use from an older 5.1 sound system. I connected this soundbar through the HDMI ARC connection and now everything works with one remote and the sound is AWESOME.

I own not 1 but 2 and both suite me needs 100%... If you are not looking to shake the house but want good quality sound then this is for you!

Our old sound bar died on us, so we went to compare the options in store. We settled on Sony and this model sounded the best for the amount we were looking to spend. Really happy with our purchase.

I would have to Totally agree with this person that bought the same as I did. I have had it two weeks. The first week was great other then I had to keep the tweeter going up and down on the sound so I can hear and the back ground noise was way to loud. I bought this set so I would not have to do that through all my shows and games. I can hear voices now. But just keep getting blown out of the room with the tweeter's being to loud. I wish I could find a good medium for this. Second week have this, was not as good. Some times the blue light will stay on and other times it will not. I have to sync the sound bar a lot. It doesn't stay synced all the time. And I don't know why some times the blue light keeps staying on. And other times the blue light if not on. I think it has to do with syncing the Bluetooth but after it is synced it never stayed on the first week I have the sound bar. I would not recommend this to others. It only has two small tweeter in the sound bar. The bass was fine. Posted 1 year ago by Kris Setup was fairly straightforward but I did have issues getting the HT-S350 to sync with my Sony XBR65X900E TV. After neither the instructions nor a web search turned up a solution, I restarted the process several times and it eventually worked. I don't care for the lack of easily seen function buttons or any type of visible display on this unit. The function buttons are on the top of the unit and are not illuminated. Since the HT-S350 is square and mounted on the wall under the TV, the already very subdued markings virtually disappear and there are no tactile bumps or depressions to indicate where to press. With a new-ish (Dec 2017) Sony TV, Sony soundbar and HDMI ARC, everything should power up and down and function seamlessly but about 10-15% of the time the soundbar fails to power on when the TV is turned on. Not a huge deal and there is a remote for the soundbar but it's annoying to have to find the additional remote or illuminate the soundbar with a phone and guess where to press. If the HT-S350 is sitting on a TV stand or entertainment center, the blocky shape would probably be just fine bus as a wall-mounted unit it looks odd. It juts straight out from the wall whereas my previous Sony soundbar was more of a wedge and appeared much more sleek. That's purely personal preference. My major issue though is with the volume variation. Not so much with DirecTV content but while streaming Netflix, Amazon, etc. the difference between action or other louder scenes and dialog is extreme. I find myself turning the volume up and down multiple times during virtually any streaming session. I've tried multiple settings on both the TV and soundbar and it's still an issue. The last comment is that during these attempted adjustments, there is no display whatsoever on the HT-S350 except for 3 LED's making what setting you're actually on another guessing game. Excellent sound when properly adjusted but can't recommend this one.

Wow! The sound can really crank on this. I will the led indicators leave a little less to be desired as you have no idea the volume on this. Once I figured out the rest of it and hooked it up to my new tv, I can forgive the indicators sounds for the awesome listening experience.

At first was disappointed in the sound, it seemed too bright, almost a bit tinny. But on salesman's advice, I installed Music Center app on my phone and was able to fine-tune the sound of the soundbar... it made a huge difference. :-)

I love it! It works perfectly well with my sony tv and magic sing karaoke system. I always make use of my soundbar whenever i watch movies or listen to recorded or live concert. I just love the way ot sounds.

Great for small homes. This gives a great base for the movie, but it doesn't support the latest Features. I would prefer to choose the one that supports all Audio Technology.

I have owned this for a month now and it is excellent! Connections were clear, easy and straight forward. The sub connected easily with bluetooth and you have terrific sound!!! Vast improvement from my tv speakers (samsung 65"). Great price too! ChazP

I am very pleased with my soundbar. It was installed in April and is working well. We are very pleased with the clarity of the sound. We have recommended it to several friends and give high praises to the installer.

Great little sound system good bass but sound bar lacks on some center speaker functions when played with a few movies. But over all good sound when connected to Bluetooth for music play.

Okay, so this sound bar is totally great. I had a little trouble understanding how it works at first, because it's my first soundbar, but once I learned how to work it, the base and sound coming from these boxes were amazing. Feels like I'm in a theater. 8)

This soundbar works as I expected it to. The wireless subwoofer is nice, however sometimes we have issues getting it to connect quickly or it will randomly disconnect. We are able to get it re-connected quickly but just a little annoying at times. May need to move it closer to the sound bar.

We purchased this for our den. Although its not the greatest sound quality the price is really all we wanted to spend plus you can't go wrong with Sony products in my experience. I don't think you will be disappointed if you just need more volume for your tv. Easy to setup.

It gives out excellent sound. it makes watching movies a whole different experience like in the movie theater. I love it! and definitely worth the price. You can use it wireless or with a cable. love that you get that option.

My tv speakers were not loud enough for my open concept living room. This was a great buy at an affordable price. I may upgrade and move these to a smaller room at some point but this will get the job done until I'm ready to go full surround sound.

Great value when I picked it up on sale for about half off. My only complaint is when playing music through the sound bar it seems the sound is distorted even when setting the mode to music. When playing video games, watching tv or movies it is great.

very powerful bass love this sound bar. best bang for the buck i got a deal for 150 bucks. Alsopurshased a warranty to protect my investment. This sound bar is a must buy.

As most everyone knows,the new TV’s do not have very good sound. We brought this sound bar for a TV in our guest bedroom to provide a better sound for our guest. This wasn’t a real expensive investment, but it was perfect for our situation. Great buy for the price!

The sound bar itself sounds great! Gets loud without distorting. The sub doesn't really have a lot of backbone to it but that could be my setup. Switching soon to a surround sound system powered by a Denon receiver to Klipsch speakers
