Sony 2.1 sound bar ok

You really have to have a strong bass signal going to the unit to get solid bass sound from the woofer. I have not tried it with Bluetooth but will soon.

Nice Upgrade

I was tired of tripping over the wires of the old system. Works well with the Sony TV I bought a couple of year ago.

very good sound

I just placed it in front of the TV on the dresser in the bedroom. I was able to work around the mounting issues.

Great sound bar for a reasonably large living room

It provides high quality sound evil when you mute your TV and the feedback is minimal if that is on. However the system could have had another speaker to make it better as a surround system.

Sony 2.1 channel 320W Soundbar System

The power keeps on shutting off, and I have to keep re-installing it. I actually heard the Subwoofer a few times, after that it’s has not been noticeable. It’s hard to distinguish the sound from the Soundbar from the TV speakers. I have a Samsung TV, and I’m wondering if that’s the problem. Since the Soundbar is a Sony, I’m wondering if it would work better with a Sony TV. If I had not already torn the box up, I’d try to return it for another one. When it does works, it sounds great!

Posted .Hi Fran, We are sorry to hear about the issue you are having. We can assure you that using this soundbar on a non-Sony TV will not cause any issues. For power-related issues, please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue:
Set the auto standby function to OFF. REF: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4748/e34a75abf7aac4f23b7cd29347800824/47487571M.pdf ( see page 29 for steps)
Remove all connected components. If resolved, then one of the previously connected components is causing the issue. To determine what device is faulty, reconnect each component one at a time to your device.
Check the HDMI CEC settings. For soundbars, check the Control for HDMI function. Make sure it is enabled. REF: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4748/e34a75abf7aac4f23b7cd29347800824/47487571M.pdf ( see page 27)
