At first, I thought I had an issue with it because I couldn't plug it into my monitor, but it turned out that my monitor didn't have an optical cable. I connected this to my computer via Bluetooth, and it's been perfect since. I notice no output lag between what I'm seeing on my screen and what I hear. The many different settings that the system has are a great touch and the sound quality is perfect. Although I use this in my room with my computer, I'd definitely buy this for a home theater or a living room TV. AS far as how loud it can be at max, it can make my windows rattle and doors shake so I'm more than happy as far as that is concerned. I've had this for 5 months now and it works just as well as the day I bought it under strenuous, everyday use.

I didn’t want anything too expensive or big and bulky. This fit the bill...easy to set up, great sound, and the price was right. I would definitely recommend.

However, I was very disappointed with it and returned it. I chose the Sony. It is amazing. I really like the multiple sound effect options and the sound quality is amazing. Especially, for the cost. Great soundbar to upgrade from base TV sound

Note that the focus of this soundbar is to greatly improve the audio of your base TV. (Which it should easily do) It is simple plug and play if your TV supports ARC. Additionally a nice option is that if the bar blocks the infrared censor on your TV (when placing it in front of the TV on a stand) the bar will allow capture the infrared signal via the bars censor and then relay back to the TV. The only issue I had was that it doesn't support DTS audio format. So what that means is if you watch dvds, blurays, 4k uhds, etc you'll need to select the dolby track on playback and if not available you'll need to set your player to convert dts and output in a linear format or dolby instead. In the end it works but may take extra configuration that competing soundbars may not suffer from. I think I bought this for $150 on sale and I would say compared to other others I had looked at, you will not see much noticeable sound difference until you hit a price point twice that much..

Bought It for my daughter she really love this soundbar/sub-woofer. And for 149 for open box no complain. It was easy to set up the Blue tooth connection on phone and iPad and Samsung TV. Has good bass too. No complaints!

Great Soundbar and subwoofer

It's done a pretty good job though, sound wise. It fills the room well, highs and lows and all. It was extremely easy to set up as well. The subwoofer does a decent job.

The sound coming from the sound bar and the sub are fantastic. Set up is super simple, there are only 3 inputs - power, HDMI (ARC) and optical. For a 2.1 channel receiver it provides a very full sound. Very happy.

The sound is really great. The price for the two items was very reasonable. Big improvement over just using the TV on its own. Now my living room sounds like a theater.

Hooked it up and immediately went back to get another. I tried ALL the other sound bars costing up to $500 and no comparison. It is rated excellent by myself and 14 and 15 year old sons who are giddy with smiles playing video games, and action movies (transformers) as the hard base from the woofer shakes the couch and floor like a Disney World 3-D experience. I play music from Youtube (not videos with music) on the music setting and it is amazing. For effect, I place the Woofer between two items (couch and solid table) taller then the Woofer and 1/2 foot from both. The base is squeezed out into the open and shakes the couch and floor on action scenes. Purchased 10/31/2020 or thereabout. Only thing is there is an occasional pop and goes out for a second sometimes playing YouTube music.

Amazing Soundbar with Simple Setup.

I was extremely impressed; the setup process went extremely smooth. The first sample of 3D audio I put on it was Man of Steel, the scene where Superman first attempts to fly. It gave a very good sensation of 3D, the sounds were precise and the soundstage was full, it was a true cinematic experience. The sound was immersive and very clear on 5.1 movies. This is a big plus for this soundbar. The dialog is very distinguishable even during action scenes in movies. The wireless sub-woofer performed is excellent. The main soundbar has a remarkable amount of bass itself much like a compact Bose system. This is a great feature as the sub-woofer is equalized to produce only the lowest frequencies. This helps clarify the higher bass notes and clarity. I would recommend this product to a friend but would also caution them about my experience.

The bass is fantastic, and the sound bar sounds great at high volumes. Higher frequencies don't sound great at low volumes, but for the price (160 on black Friday) It is a great purchase!
