Great sound for an affordable sound bar.

I do wish I could add bluetooth rear speakers to it but I knew before purchasing that it was not a feature. Had for a few weeks and am pleased with it so far.

Would not work with new Sony TV using HDMI/ARC

I had a Geek Squad protection plan and I was given a Sony HTS350 as a replacement. Apparently there is something malfunctioning between the HTS350 and certain Sony TVs such as the XR X90J. My HTS350 soundbar would not produce sound when connected to the new XR X90J TV using the HDMI and ARC port. Trouble shooting, the soundbar was tested on numerous Sony TVs and on other brands at the store. On some of them it would work and most of them (Sony) it would not. After an exhaustive testing at the Best Buy store I determined that further pursuit was not worth the amount of time and hassle I was putting into it. I therefore had to return it and select another brand. On a positive note, the HTS350 sound bar did work when using an optical cable. The sound quality was above average and I liked the convenience of the multiple sound presets. The remote control was easy to use but you will need to keep the User Guide handy if you are attempting to do any special configurations routinely.

Posted .Hi Breeze, While we're glad you like the sound quality, multiple sound presets, and easy-to-use remote control, we regret to hear about the HDMI ARC connection issue that you had with the soundbar and it had to be returned. This is usually not the case for our soundbars nor the experience we want you to have. Aside from connecting it to different TV and trying an optical connection, replacing the HDMI cable and performing a factory reset are some of the additional troubleshooting that can be done to resolve this issue.
I hope you consider our Sony products in the future. Thank you for sharing your feedback. -Sam
