Wouldn't stay paired with our LG TV

Eventually I figured out how to get the two devices to work together, a convoluted seven step process - but as soon as we turned the LG TV off I had to go thru the same seven steps to re-pair the two. That was a total game buster. Disappointing but at least we could return the Soundbar System and the new HDMI cable and pick up an LG system instead.

Press SW + on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume.
Make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange.
Set the night mode to off.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. Play the built-in demonstration music by following the steps below and check that the sound is output from the subwoofer.
-Press and hold the (TV) button on the Bar Speaker for 5 seconds.
The built-in demonstration music is played.
-Press the (TV) button again.
The built-in demonstration music is canceled and the Sound Bar returns to the previous status.
You’re now able to enjoy deeper, richer bass and immersive surround sound. The wireless subwoofer, 320W total output, and HDMI ARC one-cable connection make it perfect for your essential home theater. There’s some technical applications of the TV that are not clear. For example The TV flashed that Wi-Fi ....This last for several days I even contacted the Geek squad To fix it. It turns out that it was an internal Wi-Fi that’s no information is included in the product manual and it’s self corrected after a few days. There are other technical things that are not clearly described in the technical manual.
