We're happy to know you like the great sound quality of this soundbar. We're sorry to hear you've been running into difficulty setting up the soundbar. You can enable the Control for HDMI function settings for the soundbar, TV and other device connected to the TV. The volume of the Sound Bar can be adjusted using the TV remote control. When you turn on the TV, the Sound Bar is turned on automatically and the TV sound is output from the speakers of the Sound Bar.
Operations can also be made by the TV’s menu. For details, refer to the operating instructions of your TV.
Preparing to Use the Control for HDMI Function
- Press and hold VOICE for 5 seconds to set the function to on or off.
For more on "Using the Control for HDMI Function", refer to page 27 of the manuals.

We bought it Open Box and it looked perfect when it arrived, but we were never able to get the wireless sub-woofer to connect to the main unit. Calls to Best Buy tech folks couldn't resolve the issue so we returned it for a full refund. Too bad, looks like a great unit with all the features we were looking for.
