Much cleaner setup than my 5.1 surround
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I typically have a 5.1 setup with receiver along with a mountain of wires. This is a welcome change. Granted, you don’t get the same granular control over audio settings with the Sony, but setup is much quicker and the sound bar looks great. The wireless subwoofer pairs right up with the sound bar and fits discretely in a corner. I expected there to be timing/sync issues with subwoofer, but there aren’t. It sounds fantastic. The touch controls on the sound bar give it a minimalistic look and they’re quite responsive. Another nice feature is Bluetooth pairing with other audio devices. I can stream music from my phone when I’m not watching tv. I wish that there were more inputs, but I suppose that would detract from the simple 1-cord design. The sound itself is great. Getting surround sound effects from a single sound bar is amazing. I should’ve made the switch to something like this much sooner.
