The loudness as well as the sound quality of this soundbar usually depends on the source that you're playing and device that you are using. The HTS350 features a sound mode that is tailored to sound sources and voice mode to make dialogs clearer. If you haven't yet, you can adjust it to your liking by pressing the buttons on the remote control. We also suggest having your S350 placed closer to the ear level to allow you to hear more details. If the bar is mounted low, you may not have the best listening experience.

When the soundbar specification says 'wireless subwoofer' meaning the subwoofer can be connected to the soundbar wirelessly to play sound. Both soundbar and subwoofer still needs to be connected to the wall outlet for power just like any regular audio system.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After putting this soundbar and subwoofer to the test in many different situations, I can now honestly say I was expecting more out of this system. First to be tested was it playing regular television as well as sports on tv. I would say this is where the setup lacked the most as it did not sound all that great, it was also really lacking volume no matter what I did. Next was movies and from here on I saw improvements. It was definitely a much crisper and higher quality sound and this was also where the subwoofer could start to shine. Again though, volume still seemed to be lacking, I would expect something this large to be able to make more noise. It did not matter if I adjusted the tv volume or the system volume, I just kept having to go higher and higher and it still was just an okay volume. Next was playing regular music via bluetooth thru the speaker and subwoofer and this is where it also sounded really good, volume situation seemed to improve slightly but still at the highest setting it seemed like it should be able to go louder. I will say though that even at the highest volume, it did sound pretty good. Now for some people this volume issue for me may not be a problem, I can see this being good in an apartment, condo, or townhouse where one should probably be considerate to their neighbors when watching something or playing music. However in an average sized single family home, it honestly just doesn't cut it. Another disappointing factor I found was that there is not any equalizer functions available at all, I found myself wanting to adjust bass or treble and the only adjustments that can be done are switching the different sound modes on the remote. When digging further into my tv’s sound settings, almost nothing could be adjusted because I was not using the built in speaker, but instead an external unit so many adjustments were locked. If there is a way to make equalizer adjustments and I just have not found it yet, then it is way too hidden of a function as I have searched for longer than one should ever have to for something like that. All in all, as I have used this system daily now, I think it is honestly priced too high for what you get, there are many other alternatives to this product that are more inexpensive and give an equivalent or better result. Its saving grace is that its sound quality is impressive.

Sounds just like tv speakers that are behind the tv and woofer has no bass, none! I thought it was because the space it was in was empty-ish (I only have couches in that space) so the sound had nothing to bounce off of. I ended up buying an LG soundbar somewhere else and man it was a HUGE difference (also cheaper!). I tried everything and ultimately returned it.

If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear.
For concerns like this, we recommend setting the night mode to off. And to ensure optimal audio performance when listening to TV and movie content, we recommend the Cinema Mode. We recommend Music mode if you are listening to music.
