    Great sound, but Bluetooth cut out intermittently

    Got this to use with a Apple TV 4k and a projector. Sound was very impressive and full, but the unit had frequent audio drops via Bluetooth. HDMI wasn't an option as it only has one input and the projector doesn't have ARC. We have used the Apple TV with numerous BT speakers and not found this issue elsewhere.

We'd love to troubleshoot the issue that you are having and make this a better experience for you. In the meantime, please follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue.

      -Make sure that the BLUETOOTH indicator on the Bar Speaker is lit
      -Bring the BLUETOOTH device close to the Bar Speaker.
      -If a device that generates electromagnetic radiation, such as a wireless LAN device, other
      BLUETOOTH devices, or a microwave oven is nearby, move the device away from the Sound Bar.
      -Remove any obstacle between the Bar Speaker and the BLUETOOTH device or move the Bar Speaker away from the obstacle.
      -If the Bar Speaker is installed under the TV, move the Bar Speaker away
      from the TV.
      -Reposition the connected BLUETOOTH device.
      -Switch the wireless LAN frequency of any nearby wireless LAN router or PC to 5 GHz range.
      -Increase the volume on the connected BLUETOOTH device.

    I can’t underscore how awful this product sounds. As an audiophile who was looking to spruce up a spare room, I somehow found this sounding worse than the TV’s built-in speakers. Honestly, everything about this product is terrible—most notably the sound quality. A tinny, almost non-existent high end distorts the sound through each sound profile. The bare-bones remote gives no ability to customize or EQ anything, other than adjusting the subwoofer volume (which, I confess, sounds okay). On a whim, I replaced this with the comparably-priced Vizio V-Series sound bar that sounds WORLDS better AND includes rear speakers, a line-in, and all the EQ and customization controls you’d expect. Whatever you do, do not buy this product.

    It does not have great sound and just sounds like my sony tv. A waste of money.

    Great product if it worked. I bought it for my father, And unfortunately by the time he moved to Federal Way and I finally sat in that it was too late to return and the subwoofer is not working so I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work. I am going to read this as if the subwoofer was working along with the sound bar

    I liked this sound bar until it quit working. Hooked it up, set up the HDMI connection to my smart TV and everything went smoothly. Sounded nice but after 9 days the TV no longer recognizes it and cannot reset/reconfig to the TV. Taking it back to best buy as defective.

      Press SW + on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume.
      Make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange.
      Set the night mode to off.
      If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. Play the built-in demonstration music by following the steps below and check that the sound is output from the subwoofer.
      -Press and hold the (TV) button on the Bar Speaker for 5 seconds.
      The built-in demonstration music is played.
      -Press the (TV) button again.
      The built-in demonstration music is canceled and the Sound Bar returns to the previous status.

      - Increase the volume of the Soundbar using the remote control.
      - Increase the volume of the output device, such as a TV or audio device.
      - Turn off the Night Mode setting. On the Soundbar remote control, press the NIGHT button to turn off the Night Mode setting.
      - Try switching to different sound modes. Are you getting the tinny sound from all sources such as apps in the TV a cable box or gaming console? If not, it may be an issue with the source.

    Not As Good As My Cheaper Vizio

    My Vizio has better bass, clearer audio. What is even worse the Bluetooth connection is not near as stable as my Vizio SB3621n. Sony keeps glitching and is very intermittent, while when I switch to the Vizio it is rock solid. Very disappointed, considering on going back to Vizio. I bought this to match up with my Sony 55" tv.
