Posted .Hi, Baha!
We do apologize for the inconvenience. When the input source does not contain
much bass sound, such as in TV programs, the bass sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. To isolate the issue, please turn off the night mode. Here's the link on how ot.

Get it when it’s half price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth over 149.99 sound quality is lacking in every aspect. Sub is basically non existent till full volume. Some will disagree but just compare to a Sonos soundbar for only 100$ more and you already have more bass. Not to mention future proof sound

Posted .Hi mason, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your HTS350 soundbar. We value your opinion and we would like to apologize if our product did not meet your expectations. To ensure optimal audio performance when listening to TV and movie content, we recommend the Cinema Mode. We recommend Music mode if you are listening to music. Also, set the night mode to off. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4748/e34a75abf7aac4f23b7cd29347800824/47487571M.pdf (page 22)
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear.
Hope this helps!

Sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This particular model is a disappointment. So I feel like it wants to deliver more power but it can’t. The more you raise the volume the sound distorts. If it’s at a low to medium level it’s ok and that’s it.

Very Good Soundbar System
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Sony soundbar system with wireless sub is a most excellent one. As one would expect in the world today setup is super simple and can easily accomplished fairly quickly. I've got it connected to my TV via the included optical audio cable which is around six feet in length. The wireless sub is about five feet away on the floor. Once I figured out just where to put the soundbar in relation to the TV I had it up and running in about five minutes. The sound quality is much better than I would have expected at this price point. The bar puts out a nice, balanced sound that fills the room while the sub really throws the bass. It makes the home theater experience a much better one. Dialog is not drowned out by other noises or music which is where I've seen a lot of other soundbar systems fail. I don't know what secret sauce Sony included but I swear it sounds like a surround sound system and I like it. Very much! This is a soundbar system that, pardon the pun, really raises the bar.

Great Sound and Bass
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Produces great sound and great bass. Definite upgrade over any tv's built-in speakers. Game sound setting seems to be the best for best overall performance. There are no manual equalizer settings. Overall most settings seem hollow and produces an echo effect. Game does it the least. However, every setting has very good treble making voice audio very clear and crisp. Game seems to have the best Mid-bass, so it won't leave that setting for most of my tv viewing. There isn't an LCD screen to indicate sound level, input, etc. just an led indicator. It is quite bright and can be turned off easily (and thankfully) and will only flash when changing a setting, sound, etc. It has just 3 inputs: HDMI ARC, Optical, and Bluetooth. The design is quite nice, there is no speaker felt anywhere so it won't collect dust and is easy keep dust off. It is textured and looks and feels like leather, but is plastic. My tv set is a bit older and has a center stand and sits higher than most tv's these days with legs. I don't think it will cause issue with blocking the tv screen on newer models, but I would definitely check the specs and your setup just in case. The setup and pairing of the soundbar and subwoofer was super simple. I can easily recommend this soundbar setup.

Literally a 200 piece of trash.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar is far in away the worst tech purchase I have made in recent memory. It goes down in history with the Lenovo Ideapad k1 as one of my worst tech decisions all time. It does NOT work with my SONY tv. It does NOT work consistently with about anything else. The sound is often heavy bass and distorted forcing me to restart the entire sound bar and guess what. The thing started going bonkers the day after i was ineligible for a return. Oh and call Sony? yeah i tried that it was the worst tech support I have ever received. Do NOT buy this soundbar buy a Samsung or literally anything else. In this case you will get exactly what you paid for.

Read my review it’s garbage
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar has been in sale since forever saying initially it was $270 and $199 now. It’s not even worth $100. As a musician and just a quality sound guy I am more than disappointed. You don’t hear any mids, bass isn’t clear and dialogues are impossible to hear even on the Clear Voice mode. Pls spend extra money and go with Yamaha 2:1 chanel and up. Save your money. This is garbage.

Posted .Hi Voo1,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience on using our Sony HT-S350 2.1ch Soundbar with powerful wireless subwoofer and Bluetooth® technology. We appreciate your time in sharing this honest review. We regret to hear that you're having issues with the sound quality of the unit. We also appreciate adjusting the voice setting to enhance the sound. To ensure you're getting the optimal sound quality, please follow the steps below:
- Increase the volume of the Soundbar using the remote control.
- Increase the volume of the output device, such as a TV or audio device.
- Turn off the Night Mode setting. On the Soundbar remote control, press the NIGHT button to turn off the Night Mode setting.
- Try switching to different sound modes. Are you getting the tinny sound from all sources such as apps in the TV a cable box or gaming console? If not, it may be an issue with the source.
You can easily enjoy pre-programmed sound effects and settings that are tailored to different kinds of sound sources. This may help improve the sound quality. You can refer to pages 21-22 of the manual for more information. See Adjusting the Sound.

Look for something else. This is not it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to replace my previous sound bar with an newer up to date model and totally regretted it. There is almost no difference between the sound coming from the tv and what’s coming out of the sound bar and there is also a delay in sound between the tv and sound bar even after using optical cable which I already had. There is barely any bass and the multiple sound options all sound exactly the same! The remote is also bulky/blocky and not streamlined the other remotes. Had to return it a put my old sound bar back up.

Poor sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my new 55 inch Bravia HDR TV for streaming over a 300MB Comcast line. Frankly, the speakers on the TV are better than this soundbar. Even with the woofer on full blast, it sounds like I'm using a tin can. I've tried swapping out the HDMI cable twice. I've made sure that the Bravia is set to Dolby. I've verified settings on the soundbar and reset to factory settings multiple times. the only time it seems to work is at close to full volume. It's going back as soon as I can contact Best Buy.

Posted .Hi Roadhog, We regret to hear that it is not compatible with your Sony TV via Bluetooth. The TV needs to be compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) to be able to connect it to the soundbar via Bluetooth. However, there are still other options to connect it with your Sony TV. You can either connect it via HDMI ARC or Optical cable connection. Hope this helps! -Sam

Third times the charm
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the third sound bar that I brought within a week. The first two weren't giving me the bass that I was looking for. This soundbar gives me everything. I has different sound experiences. Love the fact that the subwoofer is wireless and doesn't have to be hardwires to the soundbar itself. I also love that fact that I can connect my phone to it. I am wanting to buy some more speakers for a full surround experience. I'm sticking with Sony.

Do not buy this sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the sound bar hoping to improve our viewing experience during the quarantine. The sound from this is terrible. The high frequency sounds are trash, hollow, and sounds like it's coming from a tin can. The sub woofer was good. There was also a delay between the screen and speaker that never could be resolved. Overall this product should be removed from Best Buy's shelves. Save yourself the trouble of having to return it and don't buy it.
