Sony or Vizio? Vizio it is.

The set up was easy, but the sound was very tinny and loud but shallow. I bought a Vizio 5.1 instead and I was much happier. Again, wish I could've stayed with Sony, but they have to fix the performance on this set. Yes, Sony, I followed the directions to increase the subwoofer level, but it also turned up the volume on the soundbar which made everything sound like a cheap TV turned up to the highest volume.

Trying out different pre-programmed sound mode options and enabling the Voice mode function are some of the steps that we recommend to ensure optimal listening experience on this soundbar.

Not great

The sound quality isn’t great. When they did the demo in store it was much better but then at home it sounded different.

Straight forward soundbar

I like that they have a separate subwoofer, as opposed to some of the soundbars that integrate the subwoofer into the soundbar. Also, the fact that the subwoofer is wireless provides added convenience when trying to determine placement and for wire management. The design is beautiful and sleek. Black with with a mesh front and minimalist bezel. It provides a nice accent to any room. The soundbar is only 35 ½” across, and looks small and slender when placed under my 65” Living Room TV. It appears much more proportionate against a 37” TV I have. This could just be a personal preference issue. The soundbar lacks Wi-Fi, so using streaming methods like AirPlay are out of the question, but the unit is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0. The Bluetooth feature is nice because it allows me to stream music from my iPad or my phone straight to the speakers. It’s a very nice feature. All in all, the soundbar sounds great and looks great. It has some minor drawbacks in its lack of features, but the features are appropriate for the price.

Voices Drowned Out

For shows like Mad Men, with only conversation its fine but i have to dial it ip to 60/100 to hear. The bar is 4 feet away from me. Action movies are nearly impossible to enjoy. I have tried all settings, sub woofer levels, doesnt matter. I have to turn down the volume during action sequences and turn it up during conversation

Bad sound

People must not have good ears. The sound on this soundbar is terrible. Makes you feel like you are in a long tunnel. Plus, there are very few, if any options to adjust the sound, and there is no number preface to see what level volume you are on. I returned 3 days later. My LG soundbar from 2014 still sounds better than this.

Why Sony?

I wasn't expecting the best but it's not good at all. The samsung soundbar I have in my bedroom sounds way better and it costs the same. The volume isn't loud and you can barely hear the bass. Not to mention the morse code remote control that came with it. The display on the speaker just flashes when you use the remote, you can't tell what it did. I would take it back but I'm not standing in a line forever outside because of the covid. I'll use it until it gives out I guess.

Disappointing sound.

You would think a 320w system would sound better than the old 60w but it did not. From low to medium volumes you could barely here the bass. Maybe that’s why this system keeps going on sale.

I don’t remember this product as I returned it.

Poor service

We are really sorry if our HT-S350 2.1ch Soundbar with a powerful wireless subwoofer did not meet your expectations. If you are having problem with the sound quality, the HTS350 features a sound mode that is tailored to sound sources and voice mode to make dialogs clearer. You can adjust it to your liking by pressing the buttons on the remote control. We also suggest having your S350 placed closer to the ear level to allow you to hear more details. If the bar is mounted low, you may not have the best listening experience.
