    I am not sure if it the actual sound bar or my T.V. but it has not been working great. The power keeps on shutting off despite checking to make sure it actually works and re-installing it.

    subwoofer issue.

    after 1yr, the subwoofer stop making heavy bass. constantly requires restart and paring process to make it work.

If only very low-level sound is heard from the subwoofer, press SW+ on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume, make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange and move the subwoofer to a location near the Bar Speaker.     Hooked it up, it worked for 2 days then just simply stopped working. Gong back for return (hopefully). I wouldn't waste my time and effort on it.

    To start things off, I’m not an audiophile that demands the absolute best sound quality and nuanced balance of sound in everything I listen to, but I am a technical consumer who knows that sharp highs, clear dialog, and deep hitting sound effects and bass in music mix to make a great at-home theatrical experience. This Sony soundbar system delivers the entire package. Good volume response, excellent dialog reproduction compared to TV speakers alone, and a few cheaper sound bars that I’ve evaluated. The real bonus here is in how easy the setup was for this sound bar and it’s wireless subwoofer. Speaking of the sub, it’s got a great depth for a 2.1 system and helps with the virtual surround effect. We put the sub behind our sectional sofa near an outlet behind the couch, and it reproduces deep sounds and “feel-able” bass that really upped our home theater game! There are presets for spoken voice/news, movies, and music. They all seemed different to me, but leaving things on the “movie” setting full-time suffices for our needs. This product came with a good-size remote, but was easily supported by my Logi Harmony 650 also. This is a great value for the money, has dead-simple installation, small footprint (fits between the feet of my 55” TV), and has excellent output.

    Sound never sinks with show. When you look it up it states to update the device, doesn't show you how. I am almost to the point of returning it

    Subwoofer was very weak, subpar sound quality for the price. Ended up returning it for the less expensive polk audio which sounded much better, especially the subwoofer.

    Haven’t had a year and the buffer is no working properly no more , I guess I gotta throw aya cuz didn’t buy no insurance and the guaranty expired !

    Great Soundbar System

    Sony's HT-S350 soundbar system sounds great. Prior to getting my hands on this system, I had Sony's HTMT300 soundbar. Needless to say, the HTS350 is a definite upgrade to my previous system. Although I enjoyed the sound coming from the HTMT300, it just wasn't cutting it. This system comes with a much larger soundbar and subwoofer. The system different sound setting that range from music, cinema, sports, etc. I found that the music mode provided great sound quality, so it is the setting that I have used most often. One thing that I really like about this system is that you can wall-hang the soundbar. It is definitely a space saver, and it is also very easy to mount. The subwoofer is bulky, but the sound is great. As for setting the system up, that is a breeze. Sony does include a digital optical cable to connect the bar to the TV. The woofer connect via Bluetooth, which consists of pressing a button to get it linked with the bar. I also tried this system with my projector and xbox, and the sounds was incredible. It provides an amazing gaming experience with great sound. If you are in the market for a new soundbar system, do not hesitate to go for the Sony HTS350.

    Came into the room and smelled something strange. When I tried to power it on the lights just flash, then nothing. Burned up with very little use. Don't buy this piece of junk.

    If you are looking for a Soundsystem for your theater room, this is probably not the one for you. The Sony HT-S350 is a good-looking compact speaker bar packaged with a sub-woofer that provides thunderous bass. Connection was quick and easy using the included optical cable. You can also use a single HDMI cable via an ARC connection or Bluetooth. There is no RCA or 3.5mm connections. Sony uses their S-Force PRO Front Surround virtual surround technology which does not compare to an actual 5.1 surround setup. There are 6 sound effect pre-sets (Cinema, Music, News, Standard, Sports and Game) along with an Auto setting to adjust the sound based on the content you are listening to. There is also a night mode for enhanced lower volumes and voice mode to enhance dialog. I found there to be subtle differences between the pre-sets and prefer the Sports and Cinema to be the best sounding for most of my viewing. The S350 is rated at 320 total watt output and has a decent volume range. It sounds better at higher volume levels. The sound bar reacts quickly to the remote control however, you will need to familiarize yourself with the instruction manual as several of the controls serve double duty depending on a short quick press of the button or a longer 5-second hold. The soundbar has only 3 indicator lights which flash in code to let you know the status of presets and volume. If you connect it via HDMI to a Sony television, you are supposed to see an actual volume level on the set, otherwise, the lights give only a general indication, one, two or all three to give a range of the volume level. I would have preferred a display or several more indicators as I found only three to be cryptic and confusing. There is also five touch sensitive buttons on the soundbar for power, volume, Bluetooth and Demo mode. As for the sound output, I didn’t find it to have a full, robust sound, most likely due to the compact size of the device. I would have liked a little more treble to match the bass from the subwoofer. I checked the “would recommend to a friend” because the Sony HT-S350 does what it claims to do, however, I believe there are better sounding options available including very capable 5.1 systems at the same or lower price points.

    Super Sony Surround Sound!!

    I couldn't wait to hook up this awesome Sony Soundbar 2.1ch with wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth technology. I immediately tried it out on an episode of Game of Thrones where there was lots of fighting and explosions and the amazing theater sound that was vibrating off the my living room walls that gave off a very big and distinct audio boost. The S-Force Pro front surround feature gives you sound from all around with no need for additional rear speakers. The Subwoofer has a large 6.30' speaker unit and 6.16 gallon volume that delivers a deep rich bass sound. One cable ...that's all... needed to connect HDMI ARC slot on 4K TV. The Soundbar and Subwoofer have a very sleek and subtle appearance with a sturdy metal finish for lasting durability and turns my 4K Smart TV into a beast. Last and not least the Bluetooth feature is great for music listening and watching live You-Tube music video performances like never before. I applaud Sony for creating outstanding electronics over the years that always stand the test of time.

      Hi CbAurora, we are really sorry if our HT-S350 did not meet your expectations. This definitely not the experience we wanted you to have. The HTS350 actually features a sound mode that is tailored to sound sources and voice mode to make dialogs clearer. You can adjust it to your liking by pressing the buttons on the remote control. We also suggest having your S350 placed closer to the ear level to allow you to hear more details. If the bar is mounted low, you may not have the best listening experience.
