So I thought I would try out a samsung one because it had pretty decent reviews and it didnt sound too bad in the store. Got it home and it didnt sound like it did in the store at all! I took it back and got this one! And it sounds 10x better. I know I will always stick with sony!

Goes perfect with a 75 inch TV. I get compliments and complains from my neighbors so if you get this for an apartment try to be aware of your volume and settings

Sounds great through hdmi cable

It took me awhile to figure that out. Switch the hdmi cable around and choose in settings. I can control the volumn too through remote.

Eighty bucks off and I have a Sony TV so using one remote made this appealing. The review: the bass is just not present. The subwoofer is pretty large but packs very little punch. The sound bar sounded okay, just okay. I have an older LG sound bar that I’ve already hooked back up and it sounds much better. Read the expert reviews before purchasing, they were dead on. Returning this product tomorrow and sticking with my LG.

Posted .Hi TexasGuy, We regret to hear that the bass quality did not live up to your expectations and it had to be returned. To ensure optimal performance with the subwoofer, please follow the steps below:
Press SW + on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume.
Make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange.
Set the night mode to off.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. Play the built-in demonstration music by following the steps below and check that the sound is output from the subwoofer.
-Press and hold the (TV) button on the Bar Speaker for 5 seconds.
The built-in demonstration music is played.
-Press the (TV) button again.
The built-in demonstration music is canceled and the Sound Bar returns to the previous status.

TV has speakers built behind the screen and the sound bar set up didn't sound as good as the TV. TV speakers sound fantastic, but a little shy on the lower end. Wound up with a different sound bar. Now very happy. The Sony sound bar may have been much better on a TV with the miniature speakers on the base.

I get its not a high dollar setup, but how in the world do you have a soundbar that you cannot manually adjust the EQ on? The subwoofer might as well not even be included, its vibrating so I know its connected, but it makes ZERO bass noise and I have the subwoofer button maxed (I think? Theres no on screen display, but ive hit it 1000 times). Im not even joking the speakers built into the TV give a far greater range of sound than this unit. Trying to watch football is 100% crowd noise and you cannot even hear the announcers or other sounds, with no way to adjust it, its unbearable. The ONLY reason I gave this two stars is because of the easy setup, literally plug it in and its connected, including subwoofer, but what good is that when I have to return it because it sounds like a tin can? Please use your money elsewhere, there's tons of other units in this same range. The fact that this currently has such a high review average really boggles my mind. Going back to the store after owning it for only a few hours. I bought a Vizio unit last year for the exact same price but the quality is not even in the same ballpark, the Vizio blows it away. Shame.

For concerns like this, we recommend setting the night mode to off. And to ensure optimal audio performance when listening to TV and movie content, we recommend the Cinema Mode.
