I was simply looking for something that would add more dimension to my sound experience and this did the job. I have an old Kenwood system from 25 yrs ago where the receiver light stopped working and I purchased it to replace it. Love the idea of 2 speakers instead of 6 in my small space. I live in an apartment and apparently have a neighbor with the same sound bar. The first thing you should do is pare the remote control to your speakers or your neighbor will be raising and lowering your sound.

Difficult Setup but great sound

Bought it based on the reviews and figured it would work well with his TV as both were Sony's. Well, it was a pistol to setup. We tried several different things and were searching the Sony website and googling questions to try and figure it out. FINALLY we were able to get it all to work together and the sound is excellent! Would have been 5 stars if the setup had been as seamless as they implied. Recommended, just remember that it may take several tries to get it to talk to your TV.

Not as good as Harmon or Siens. But for the Price and finding a better device you'll be looking at $1,000+ for a better device. I would have to say its the best device you'll find under 1,000 without having 750W+ of a True Subwoofer Multi-Speaker system. Set-ups Simple, Plug power in the wall, plug the kicker into the wall, attach the Fiber-optic from TV to Speaker and Turn on.

Works great with Xbox One S and turntable, as well! Easy to connect via HDMI and toslink optical audio cable. Super quick setup, and remote is helpful. Also great for quickly connecting to my cellphone, tablet, and laptop via bluetooth. Definitely recommend when on sale!
