The soundbar and subwoofer sound great while using for the TV, however, I tend to play a lot more music than I do the TV and the soundbar skips in and out; this is occurred several times while I’m listening to music and the frequency is much more than I’d like. I’ve checked my internet and nothing is wrong on that end, so unsure what’s causing the skipping, but it’s annoying. For the tv, again, it’s great and the set up was extremely simple.

We got this because our TV speakers are junky. Our only complaint is that we hoped it would equalize the sound in movies better. For example, during big action scenes in movies we have to turn it down a few clicks because they get SO loud, but in a talking scene it is too quite. This could be user error or the way the movies we have watched are designed. This sound bar is still worlds better than our TV speakers!

I went with Sony because I have an older Sony TV and I hoped they would work well together -- and they do. The connections (HDMI and optical audio) were easy and the sound is MUCH better. I think with newer TVs it is even easier because the optical audio cable (included with the speakers) is not required. They turn on and off with the TV remote, so no extra remote control is required.
