More than what I bargained for

A couple of things to mention: 1. Installation was super easy. Installed it using Bluetooth and then wired. Opted for wired in the end as I felt like the sound was better. 2. Sound has been great. I was able to center the sub-woofer below the TV so it is below the sound bar. Sound is great for movies and games.

Everything Sony works great together as usual. Tried to Bluetooth soundbar to tv and noticed slight delay so plugged in via hdmi arc and everything is much better now. Sub is good and loud. Went to the outside to get something and the rumble was very noticeable. Hope the neighbors don’t complain when I’m watching avengers. All in all good price good sound

Hard trouble setting it up using the arc but after countless times on the phone with support we got it set up so that it works without having to Bluetooth it through the tv. It has media features as well. It has 3 volume levels that blink each time you reach the level. It’s a sleek design. Yes it gets loud!

Overall sound quality is much better than what my tv was outputting. The lows, mids, and highs are overall balanced. Not the loudest but at this price point acceptable. I have. A newer Sony tv and the sound bar turns on automatically when I turn on the tv. Another great feature is the tv remote also works on the sound bar, so you won’t have to juggle between controllers.

The plan was to use for youtube music videos, pandora music, movies and gaming. Very clear sound and perfect bass in my opinion. It feels like a theater type of sound. Crips and clear, highs or lows not to overpowering. They are leveled out just right. Easy to install and very easy to use. I connect to my tv and alexa cube through bluetooth. Its great!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a sound bar for our townhouse basement that we haven’t hung out in for a while even though it has a nice Sony 55” flatsceen hung up & an extremely comfortable sectional couch. Was contemplating the Sonos Beam Gen 2 but didn’t want to spend that much money if I didn’t have to. After careful consideration, I chose this one. Set up was very simple via the optical cable & despite moving the sub woofer around several times it syncs up automatically fine (each time). This thing provides a very robust sound (volume wise) & provides a very good sound stage/soundscape for whatever you’re watching. We’ve watched several eps of S5 Breaking Bad, first ep of Moon Knight, ep 10 of Bel Air, S3 ep 3 of Atlanta, and Raiders of the Lost Ark with this new sound bar & it does a great job! My only criticism is I wish the sub woofer kicked a little more especially since its almost the size of a CPU but it does an adequate job. I tested the subwoofer with the symphony explosion scene in Tenet & a couple of scenes in Blade Runner 2049. The sub woofer did a satisfactory job but not spectacular. I wasn’t sure this was a keeper but it definately is. Highly recommend this sound bar if you’re budget minded.
