Sound quality isn’t horrible, but it doesn’t sound much different than just having the tv on without the soundbar.

It doesn't quite have the low end punch that I was hoping for from a Sony product but it is not a large subwoofer so hard to expect a lot. The sound quality is good for my TV room and I like the ability to change the preference to fit what you are watching or listening to.

The sound quality was great, but not superb - you get what you pay for. In the whole. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this product. We decided to check out Best Buy and there were many to choose from so we took the time to listen to the quality of each soundbar and found this model to be the best. We have been very pleased with the sound in our home also.

I wasn't sure what the cause was so I decided to get a new soundbar. WOW what a difference I didn't realize the bass that we were missing. Also the ARC was a nice upgrade over the optical connection that the polk had. I'm glad I spend the money on a new system.

Sony vs Polk

Decided to go with Sony due to having a Sony TV and it was more compatible with our Logitech universal remote. So far so good, the sound is a little richer than Polk.
