I connected to my television with supplied optical cable. The cable is a bit awkward to make the connection but it is not something you will have to repeat. Greatly improves audio over the standard speakers in my Sharp television.

I would definitely recommend buying to anyone who would ask.

Sound is great coming from this soundbar. Definitely an upgrade from the TV's speakers. Only issue I have is with the subwoofer. It worked great initially but now the sound is always cutting out on it but it does have a nice boom to it when it works properly

While we're glad you like the sound quality of the product, we regret to know you are having some audio cuts out issues with the subwoofer. To ensure you get the best wireless connection with your subwoofer, please follow the troubleshooting steps and guidelines below:
Move the subwoofer to a location near the bar speaker so that the power indicator on the subwoofer lights in green or orange.
– Perform a power reset on the Subwoofer and TV.
– Make sure the AC power cord (mains lead) of the subwoofer is connected properly.
– Follow the steps in “Resetting the System” (page 35).

THE PRICE I PURCHASED IT FOR WAS GREAT COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL. I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE BECAUSE YOU CAN ADJUST FROM AUDIO TO BLUETOOTH TO CINEMA AND MORE . We decided to check out Best Buy and there were many to choose from so we took the time to listen to the quality of each soundbar and found this model to be the best. It doesn't quite have the low end punch that I was hoping for from a Sony product but it is not a large subwoofer so hard to expect a lot. The sound quality is good for my TV room and I like the ability to change the preference to fit what you are watching or listening to.

I wasn't sure what the cause was so I decided to get a new soundbar. WOW what a difference I didn't realize the bass that we were missing. Also the ARC was a nice upgrade over the optical connection that the polk had. I'm glad I spend the money on a new system.

The sound quality was great, but not superb - you get what you pay for. In the whole. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this product. I would recommend to a toon s limited budget, but still insists on good quality.

Before I purchased this I always had to turn up sound to hear what was being said and turn down when music played. It's a great bang for you buck as well. Set up was very easy!

I had gone with the intention of buying another brand but after listening to it I wasn't impressed at all. I listened to this one and loved the sound for the money. As others of said it would be better if it showed a volume level rather than the lights, but it is livable.
