Great but not perfect

After about 2 months of use I'm quite impressed. The Audio is clear and the bass is amazing! The bass is amazing and shakes my room when it's cranked. I really like the remote that comes with the sound bar because it comes with pre-settings: cinema, voice, night, ect. Each option makes a difference. The one flaw I have with the bar is that voices can become muffled over the bass. Over all better voice audio would be appreciated. It complements my Sony x80j 55" quite well. I would recommend this sound bar for anyone who is placing a 50" or larger on a stand. This sound bar will fit well.

Sony HTS 350 is great

I screwed with the sound bar for almost two weeks and couldn't get it to work. The Geek Squad came by yesterday and installed it in about 45 minutes. It worked great for one day. The next morning I turned it on and got ZERO sound from the sound bar. I once again screwed with it for about four hours. I packed the piece of crap and returned it to Best Buy. I purchased a Sony HTS 350 sound bar for $199.00 Hooked up the ARC to ARC cable and the soundbar worked perfectly. The hole process didn't take more than a minute. BUY A SONY HTS 350 ! YOU WILL LOVE IT !

Decent, but disappointed overall

Yes, the sub in this kit was way better than my older Sony bar, but surprisingly the mid and highs weren't any better. Sub was powerful but not as focused as others. It's good for the holiday sale price, but if you listen to a handful of others, it's easy to get picky on details. I ended up being surprised by a great performing Samsung m435 for a better deal. I wasn't expecting that outcome at all. Still surprised that the difference between a $100 and $300 retail Sony product isn't more. Your opinion may vary.

I miss not having a number for sound level. Has a single white light for lower levels and changes to two lights about mid way. Not bad, just different.

I ran out of warranty and thought my subwoofer died. I called customer service and that's what they said. When I didn't like the sound that came from these, I searched on the internet how to pair my Samsung subwoofer. Ahhh! It worked. I returned these Sony ones the next day. I was kinda excited to get the same company to go with my Sony TV but, somehow paying about mid $100 didn't give the same quality as the Samsung ones around the same price. I purchased both around Black Friday, so I know I got the best price for both companies. For TV's picture, Sony is the best. For sound, Samsung is.
