Great Sounding Bar for the Price.

I used it in my family room at my old place with a receiver, so it was never a issue. I just had it mounted in my bedroom and needed a good entry level sound bar to go with, and this definitely does the job. You might need something more powerful or more expensive for a home theater setup, but it's more than enough for a bedroom.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put subwoofer near front by tv and my Mom commented that “sound didn’t match people’s lips.“ I was going to return this knowing my Mom wasn’t happy. Next day, luckily somebody mentioned to move the subwoofer behind the couch and what a difference! The money spent on this unit was well worth it. Using the soundbar alone sounds horrible, must use subwoofer which bass is adjustable from 1 to 10. Paired to my Dish TV was easy and my DISH TV remote runs the soundbar volume and all other satellite tv functions.

Press SW + on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume.
Make sure that the status indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green or orange.
Set the night mode to off.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. Play the built-in demonstration music by following the steps below and check that the sound is output from the subwoofer.
-Press and hold the (TV) button on the Bar Speaker for 5 seconds.
The built-in demonstration music is played.
-Press the (TV) button again.
The built-in demonstration music is canceled and the Sound Bar returns to the previous status.

That should explain how much I love Sony and how good this sound bar is. Good quality built and sound quality. Trustable name brand Sony. Best subwoofer in the market for the price. I got both on sale but wouldn’t mind paying original price as it’s worth it. Bestbuy has the best shipping process. The guys who brought it were great. Installation is easy and simple. I can use my tv remote to control it. Recommended!

Easy set-up, great sound

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall set-up took around 15 minutes and 10 was just trying to get the speakers out of the box by myself. I already knew where it was going so power sources and HDMI cords were all I needed. Turning it on was simple and it synced up with my TV and subwoofer within seconds. The sound is awesome and definitely a level up from just using the TV speakers. The only thing I haven't figured out is why the subwoofer won't allow me to higher the volume. On the given remote there are two buttons for volume and pressing the one for the subwoofer does nothing.
