There is an additional knocking/shortage sound that comes from the subwoofer. I have spoken to 2 Sony reps at 2 different Best Buy location, both confirming its not normal. Especially because I had a recording of the noise, but no one can say why it happens. It usually happens via Bluetooth, but even happens when it’s playing straight from the TV. I have even tried moving my modem & router as I read from other reviews sometimes there is frequency interference, tried the secure link button, plugging the soundbar & sub into the same outlet (not sure why this matters, but Sony rep said to try it and I will try anything at this point), NOTHING works. So upset, clearly I wanted to love this sound bar as the sound quality without that annoying shortage knocking is great, but it is too consistent to not be very bothersome. Especially because this soundbar is supposed to replace my sound system and act as my home theater in one. What a waste of time and money, definitely returning.
