It has quality sound output for a very reasonable price. The sub woofer is a bit cumbersome in size for our smaller TV, but it is a major improvement over the built in speakers on the set. There is an optical cord included for older sets, and this was important for us. It appears that connectivity is even better with newer sets, so that would make it an even better value.

great sound, difficult set up

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to hook up to a relative's X900E, connections were simple, setup proved somewhat difficult, I really wish it had an on screen UI when hooked up through HDMI, you have to watch and decipher lights on the bar itself to know whats going on (have the manual ready and read through it!) I struggled getting ARC to work correctly until i read through the manual fully.
