Sony HT S400 soundbar

Sure it doesnt have all the features that some of the other soundbars have but it has HDMI ARC, optical and bluetooth and thats all i need. Sound quality is good and while im not an audiophile i do like good sound quality and this has it. I got mine on a black friday sale for $149.99. At the time of writing this (11/13/2023) its on sale for $199.99. It may be a little high but Sony is known for their home entertainment products. I mainly use mine for watching TV and listening to music. Sometimes when im watching TV it sounds like the sound is coming from straight in front of me. (TV and soundbar are offset). Of course thats a placement thing. Overall, awesome 2.1 soundbar that works great in a bedroom

Glad i bought it

If i used the original TV sound it would echo in my room, this really cleaned that up, and the bass really makes me feel like i am in the theater(small room)

I didn't need anything loud because my room is small. This fits the bill perfect and the remote is very handy to adjust the bass and volume. Installation is a breeze....

Sometimes the bass is lacking but overall a great product.

We understand that bass can sometimes feel a bit lacking depending on the content or room acoustics. If you haven't already, please try adjusting the SW (Subwoofer) Volume level directly on the remote control, and also check the Sound Mode settings (like Cinema or Standard) to find the combination that maximizes the bass output for your specific environment.

Perfect for what I need

Great deep bass. There’s other soundbars that are way better, but for my apartment it’s great, I can’t play it that much loud because of my neighbors, but I enjoy the quality of the sound never the less. The only thing that I don’t like is that the led display is always on, it should fade out but no, as long as it’s turn on it says “tv” or whatever you have it conectes. The subwoofer also has a light always on.
