Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds fantastic, but even though its connected to a Sony tv via optical cable, there is still a noticeable lag in the sound coming from soundbar vice the tv speakers. When connected via HDMI, the only way to control the volume is with the sound bar volume control (not the tv's) - which is a slight inconvenience because it requires a configuration change in the settings menu. Until they can fix the sound lag issue on all sound bars, I can only give a "good" rating.

Very easy to install and controlled by the TV. After setup you can just forget it is there. I use it in my bedroom and am very happy with with the effect of clear sound.

Frustrating pairing instructions

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up is always more complicated than one would expect, but the directions don’t provide any insight into needing to pair with certain streaming apps independent of pairing with the TV. That seems to be the only real downside. I did pair it with a Sony TV and that is certainly not intuitive. Sound quality is fine for the price, but if you are not technologically savvy be prepared for some installation pains.

The only thing I would change is adding a “mid” range eq option to go along with the existing “treble” and “bass” eq options. Overall, though, great product!!

For the price of the Sony surround sound system it’s worth every penny spend on it. Also the geek protection plan gives me covered so I can watch my shows the way I want to watch them with excellent sound at the control of my fingertips.
