Even though we have a new Sony Bravia TV getting the soundbar synched and operating was a bit of an adventure. Instructions could be more helpful.

This is just right. I have the Subwoofer next to my chair in the living room. Plus we have a 17' ceiling in the living room. Cathedral style. Go Sony. You'll love it. Plus, go Best Buy for Electronics not other stores. The sales person's are the most knowledgeable than the constant turn around of employees in other stores. I purchased because I needed something that could be connected by arc cable, not the optical cable. Works great.
