Wireless sub is active about 20' from sound bar and works well. I use this sound bar for TV viewing and it is a great additions to my LR for the price.

Home Installation needs confirmation

This was a second 'call' addressing sound-audio problems i was having involving a receiver and other speakers prewired in room ceiling. I attempted to resolve at store with management saying any misunderstanding was due to bestbuy (i expected the sound bar to be installed ) No-one had any apathy.) After recently spending $700 with Bestbuy I felt some consideration was resonable which came down to $45 additional charge for the install Kent Evans (no more)

Does not stay synchronized with TV so beware!

Unless you have to have one, skip it. I bought a Sony Brevia to go with this sound bar and both the store and the guys who installed misled me to think the two things would be synchronized and controlled by a single remote. It just is not true.
