Worked well! It was open box so not immaculate but still great. It sounds awesome. And only have two pieces was great for the wire situation.

Great sounding speakers, but occasional connectivity problems with the subwoofer requiring unplugging and restarting the unit. Everything in my system is Sony and it all communicates well with each other. (TV, soundbar, ps4, ps5)

The Sony Sound Bar is fairly compact and fits nicely in front of the television. I like the feature that lets me turn the subwoofer way down so that it doesn't overpower the room with excess sound. By the way you can put the subwoofer anywhere in the room where there is a power receptacle.

I am hearing impaired and this is excellent for allowing me to hear the spoken words clearly regardless of the background music. I love this along with the surround sound.

I bought this because of the great reviews but honestly it’s been a bit of a let down. When watching movies the sound effects, music and bass are pretty good…. The down side is the vocals get drowned out with no way to make a good adjustment. I’ve maxed out the volume on this bar to better hear what is being said, but as soon as some kind of action comes on, now it’s way too loud. I wish there was some kind of built in EQ. It has very limited adjustability. I tried every which way to adjust the settings. Sadly this wasn’t all that cheap, especially since I had to end up buying a new soundbar to replace this one. My personal advice would be to save a little more money and buy something that has more adjustability so you can have clearer sounding movies. Or buy this bar and test it extremely well before the return due date expires. It may be just right for you. Good luck.

This Sony quality was apparent from the beginning. Great sound, good features and a great remote control. I will remember to "Buy Sony" going forward..

Love this sound bar! The sound is incredibly crisp and enhances my TV viewing. It works great with my Xbox Series X as well.

Great sound enhancement. I can hear the words much more clearly without having to increase the tv volume which distorted the language. Although the techs had to call Sony for instructions on install ( a process) not exactly a plug and play.

Hookup was simple, able to navigate through the Lg sound bar app for updates. Havent been able to get Lg orchestra figured out but i believe its because my lg tv is not compatible.

The Sony - HT-S400 2.1ch Soundbar and Subwoofer have totally changed our viewing experience. The sounds for our football games and movies are outstanding, not really sure how we lived without it.

This is an excellent product for the price. We are able to place anywhere in our living room.

Satisfied with quality. Sometimes takes a few seconds to adjust sound.

Missing the remote. No help from store employee. Amazon came through with an aftermarket remote that worked great. Other than that sounds great, sony never disappoints.

It's not a high priced soundbar subwoofer setup, but make no mistake, it definitely sounds like it! Gray surround sound and amazing bass from such an inexpensive combo!

Good product for the price Connecting was quick and easy good sound quality the display could be a little easier to see but still user friendly

Cant say anything bad aboit this soundbar although I have nothing to compars this to. Good bass clear sound, huge imorovement over built in tv speakers.
