    Easy connection to my LG tv. Wireless sub is active about 20' from sound bar and works well. I use this sound bar for TV viewing and it is a great additions to my LR for the price.

    The sound is good but it does not stay synchronized with the TV so about half the time you must keep both remotes on hand which makes it a huge hassle. Unless you have to have one, skip it. I bought a Sony Brevia to go with this sound bar and both the store and the guys who installed misled me to think the two things would be synchronized and controlled by a single remote. It just is not true.

    Great sound. Bluetooth works well all types for audio. Overall a great buy if you just need a sound bar with some great audio for tv and movies in a small room.

    After 11 month the sound changed and poor quality. The TV still good, but sound bar no.

      We are sorry to hear that the sound quality of your HT-S400 soundbar has degraded significantly after 11 months of use. This is certainly not the expected performance, and we need to help you resolve this. As a first step, please try power cycling both the main soundbar unit and the wireless subwoofer by unplugging them from the wall for five minutes and then plugging them back in; this can sometimes reset the audio processing. If the poor quality persists, please contact our support team immediately, as your unit is still under the standard one-year warranty and we will need to arrange a service or repair: https://us.esupport.sony.com/support/s/support-contact?language=en_US

    Very good sound and easy set up if you have a smart tv. But even if you dont have wifi on your tv it has a cable to still be about to connect

    Sound is much better than TV…..but unfortunately not as good as 3.1 Speaker, which wasn’t able to keep because sound bar being a little to wide..sad!!

    If you want all around sound, it's not for you. but it's good for the price I guess. better surround sound calls for more expensive sound bar

    This soundbar has a decent sound for the price. I sounded great in the store but average in my home. I don't know if I have a flawed product but the sound will cut out on occasion. If I didn't need to spend my rewards points before they expired I would have waited until I could afford a better one.

    Pros: Easy setup, seems to work fine most of the time* Cons: It decides to switch into Bluetooth Pairing mode without any user interaction on my part. No touching of the remote, no voice control, no touching anything, it just turns off the audio and goes into the search mode. Happens anywhere from once every couple hours to several times in an hourlong tv show. Clearly I am not the first to experience this. The subwoofer also doesn't sound all that great - it will enunciate voices on occasion - so you might hear it every 3 seconds or so.

    Is it the best? No. But do you expect it to be for the price? If so, that's on you, not the brand or product. I got this open box for under $150 and I would buy it again if I had the chance.
