We are so sorry if the volume of our Z9F Dolby Atmos soundbar did not meet your expectations. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have in our product. Some of these issues happened if the soundbar is not set up correctly. The HT-Z9F features customizable speaker settings where you can set the speaker distance from 0 ft to 33 ft for a much richer sound quality. You can raise the level of the soundbar and subwoofer an additional 6 dB in the user interface menu. This will allow you to fully experience the rumbling lows during explosions of a movie, and the clarity of the string instruments during an orchestral performance. If you haven't yet, to round out your listening experience, we recommend adding the SAZ9R wireless rear speakers.

A couple weeks ago bought a Samsung q60r 5.1 channel sound bar and it was ok. But then I stumbled on this one its only a 3.1 channel but it upscale to near 7.1 and let me just say it destroys the samsung. Needless to say I returned the samsung and kept the sony.

High Quality Sound Bar with a few Caveats

Subwoofer is pretty powerful and the soundbar is excellent. It didn't get much of the atmos overhead effect however. If that's a primary thing for you, you may want to investigate other options.

I had it installed today with my Bravia tv, geek squad did an amazing job. my review will be updated later once I get to really get some use out the sounder and sub. but as of right now im very happy with my purchase.

Figured this would be better matched electronically being the same brand. A little overpriced compared to others but splurged anyway. Really nice sound. Friends wish they had a sound bar.

Im not sure what the exact issue is, but when it is working, the sound is amazing. It's very, very loud and efficient for a home theatre system.

My recommendation is use a Digital Optical Audio Cable for best results. If you plan on using HDMI it will work but I promise there is a huge difference. The setup is easy anyone can do it. Besides that the price was ok compared to other products.
