I bought a great Sony TV as well and this sound bar is a must purchase. I have it set up in my bedroom and movies the Dark Knight sound just like you’re in a movie theater.

I can't wait to buy the rear surrounds just waiting for them to go on sale!

It is easy to set up and use. It links up to the tv. When you turn the tv on it turns the sound bar and sub on and when you turn off the tv it shut off too

There were several models available at a wide range of prices. While the Sony 3.1 High Resolution bar cost a few hundred dollars more than the next model down the line, the fullness of the sound has made it worth the investment. It is perfect for a large room, but can easily be heard throughout a 2,000-plus square foot home. Due to time constraints, my TV was set up for a week before the sound bar was connected. This gave me an opportunity to compare the sound from the TV to that from the sound bar. The sound with the bar was far superior. If you watch a lot of movies and/or play a lot of music, you will be glad that you purchased this product.

Super easy setup and still allows me to control my TV through Apple TV via Arc. Quite expensive but had a good sale.

Great sound from a Sound Bar

Over and over, they're underwhelming. Even top name brands like Klipsch can't seem to get it right with their sound coming across as flat and unable to fill a room. When lightning fried my last Sony sound bar I went through the process of testing out a bunch of them again thinking their sound must have come up. I was disappointed in what I heard. But Sony continues to get it. This fills the space very well and the center channel is easy to hear. Plus, their subwoofer is large enough that it produces nice bass without being overdriven. The only other system I'd have considered was from Sonos, but theirs was literally twice the price. I would definitely buy this one again!!!
