Best 5.1 atmos soundbar

Great Sound. Seamless CEC/Arc
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned a Nakamichi Shockwafe Pro 7.1.4, which despite having excellent sound had CEC/ARC issues and constant audio drops (sometimes requiring the bar to be reset) and don't regret it. Wish the unit was a bit cheaper, but it sounds great, especially paired with the surround speaker set. Best yet, CEC/ARC works seamlessly with my TiVo, Roku and Blu-ray player.

I give it 3-stars because of my review of the Sony TV sound issue. I am not sure if the problem is the TV or the sound Bar. And Best Buy and Sony offer no solution to the problem. There go to response is; it must be a user error. If you want to know the problem read my comments on the Sony X950H series TV.

While we are glad you like the fantastic sound quality of our HTZ9F, we are sorry you are encountering an audio issue when paired with your X950H. There are some things we’d like for you to try and see if we can resolve your audio issue.
First, verify the HDMI cables you are using are rated for high speed and are at least 18 Gbps cables. Try replacing them if you have not. Next, ensure CEC control is enabled on the soundbar and your TV. For the soundbar, it’s on page 64 of this link https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4727/d3668cdaf4f83107b52ee9bdb84fa5a0/47275331M.pdf.
If the issue persists, please update the firmware of your TV and soundbar to the latest version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Please refer to the following links for instructions:
