Soundbar is great!

It is all we need for a wonderful experience of movies and music plus just plain talking programs like podcasts and youtube interviews. We're glad it was recommended to us by the employee who recommended it to us at Best Buy.

Would not recommend placing it on the ground, especially carpet. The acoustics are best for ear level listening. If its below you, expect to turn the volume up a couple notches...

But after I bought the sound bar it helps complete my setup I use it mostly for gaming purposes the sound produced by this product is outstanding!

I had a previous sound bar that did not allow for this level of clarity for dialogue. Music and background music or background sounds are excellent.

Paired with the back speakers it's a really nice wireless system. It synced perfectly with my Sony Bravia. Bass works well, so well, that hubby had me turn it down (thought dogs were fighting).

SOUND- JUST OK

I think the biggest reason is because it does not have the full sound system- speakers and subwoofer. I would not recommend buying without the full setup.

While it features a built-in dual subwoofer and Vertical Surround Engine for virtual Atmos, it is designed as a modular system that supports 360 Spatial Sound Mapping only when paired with optional wireless rear speakers (SA-RS3S or SA-RS5) and a separate subwoofer (SA-SW3 or SA-SW5) for a truly cinematic experience.

Great sound bar

I was worried that since I have a large living/dining/kitchen great room, that the sound wouldn't be deep enough, or would sound tinny, but neither is true. It has great sound even from the other end of the room.
