Not worth it.

I wanted to stay with a Sony product as I recently purchased a Sony 90 series TV. Pretty disappointed in the fact that a Sony Sound bar has been very difficult to get working properly with a Sony TV. My TV is new and does have EArc, but no matter how I set it up, it says it is on using "external audio, but the volume is not coming from my sound bar only the the TV speakers. The only sound that comes through the sound bar is from the built in Google TV apps. Pretty dissatisfied with something at this price that will not work with anything other than the Sony TV built in apps.

Power reset both TV and soundbar, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. Check the audio output setting of your TV to verify it's set to use your audio device. If you have a BRAVIA TV, set the TV settings for Speakers to Audio System. But if it's just to watch TV and movies without the cinema effect then it's ok.

I have a Bose 700 soundbar and subwoofer and the quality it´s far away. But for a normal use it´s ok. You can fell a diference. Needs a BIG subwoofer to feel the deth of the sound. Minimum a 8 inch sub.

The bass sounds surprisingly deep considering it’s an internal subwoofer within this unit. Sounds really good for the basic model that it is and the price is right.
