Works as intended, easy to install, make sure you remove the plates slowly

This drive was so easy to install and works as advertised!

Works very well. It was a super easy installation, probably the easiest console upgrade I’ve ever had, and the shell is easy to customize.

Easy install on my PS5 Pro. Comes with feet to accommodate the added height of the drive. Works as expected.

Love being able to read discs and CDs and the backwards compatibility to PS4 this opens up. Only way this could have been cooler is if the PlayStation was 100% backwards compatible and we could play ps1-ps3

Easy to install. Works perfect. If any questions, watch a video on YouTube first. It also helps hold the unit upright. My only concern is it should be included with the PlayStation when purchased.

I just bought a PS5Pro and bought the disc drive. It came with plates for the Slim and Pro models. Took about 10 minutes to install. Mostly watching videos to remove the face plates but after that once it powered on, it did an update and was ready to use. No game problems.

I upgraded to the ps5 pro and since I still have disk games I play, and it doesn’t have a disk drive, I decided to buy this. Attaching to the system was really easy and I’ve had no problems with using it

I tried to fix my sons disc drive on his ps5 slim and accidentally broke it. This was the perfect replacement and so easy. Just pop the cover off, lift disc drive out, sit new disc drive in and it's ready to go. It was a very good price compared to paying someone to repair it
