It is awesome to add a disc after the fact. Althogh discless options on consoles doesnt make sense. And after buying the pro and then having to buy this separately stinks. It is handy if my disc drive stops working itll be easy to replace instead of fixing.

Playstation 5 is the best of all time. I put playstation 4 games onto 5. Im glad to get one..

Even though you have to buy this separately from the console. You actually save money by buying preowned disc games. If you’re the type of gamer that buys digital games. If you don’t like it you get the full refund from the preowned purchase.

It works but for how much I paid for the Pro it should have had a disk drive.

We bought the digital version for our son for his birthday but didn’t realize how many games he wouldn’t be able to play because the system needed the disk. We found this online and bought it. It works perfectly and took less than 5 minutes to connect to the PS5

Bought to connect to PS 5 to watch movies but OS 5 was too old so didn't work. Ended up returning. No issues with devce.

Easy to install. Works perfectly on PS5 Pro. Only problem it is not a universal dvd player and you can only switch the region on 5 times for dvd playback

It was my son‘s birthday and his disc drive wasn’t working. I’m very grateful for Best Buy. Having one in stock. It has had no problems or issues and his birthday went great.

Nothing crazy to write here but it does the job and is a quick and painless install. Sucks Sony doesn't include this on the Pro model though.

I recently upgraded to the PS5 Pro and this disc drive is neccessary for me since my collection is about 85% discs. Easy to install, and works as it should!

bought the wrong ps5 (digital) with disc games, i wasnt able to exchange it for the disc ps5 so i had to buy this.. works well and easy to put on!

This is worth having. Digital is nice but having the disc drive is a must have, not only for games but for playing Blu ray dvds as well.

Very easy install on my ps5 pro taking less then 5 minutes. Plug and play basically.

Nice that it is optional, but I recommend it if you still have ps4 or 5 discs.

Works and fits perfectly on my PS5 Pro. It comes with two bigger “legs” to connect to the Pro so that it doesn’t wabble when it is set down horizontally.
