Should have been included with the PS5 Pro. Corporate money games at play.

Too expensive for this disc reader in my opinion cmon Sony!

Had to purchase this item separately since the PS5 Pro does not include one and I have physical copies of games.

Didn't lile that i had to buy this just yo play my games that i have on disk from og ps5.

Its a must but it is unfortunate that you have spend extra in order to play physical disks

open box item that was damaged from the previous purchaser they returned a damaged disc drive and best buy just puts it for sale without checking. i will never purchase an open box item again from best buy

Product quality is fine. However, Best Buy doesn't check to ensure there are the mounting feet included as part of their "excellent" checkup. This has happened on multiple PS5 items.

Don't buy this. It will overheat and bestbuy has a 15 day return policy. Went to Amazon.com

Install was easy but sony should just include this with the ps5 pro. Not happy about having to buy a disc drive for a pro console

Bought open box due to condition saying Excellent, product does not work, and has loose peices jingling inside of it.

Drive was faulty! Play dvd but not ps5 games! Best Buy want let me return for refund or exchange!

Should this have been in the system already? Yes. But this is not a review of Sony, lets get to the product. It was not clear if this worked for PS5 Pro, it says “slim” version on it so had a moment scratching my head. But no worries, it was easy to install and works great with PS5 Pro. It comes with its own stands, make sure you dont forget them in the box, your system without the longer stands, in the famous line from Christmas vacation “aint gonna look right”.

I don’t need a drive allt the time but prefer to have the iption when playing an older game. As the PS5 Pro is now discless, it’s great to add one as needed. Availability is spotty at best, but once I managed to get one it was easy to install and works flawlessly.
