I love buying physical copies of games and the experience of walking into stores and picking them up. Getting the PS5 disc drive lets me keep that experience at home and play the discs I buy, which honestly makes me really happy.

There's not much to say about this product except 1) it works and 2) I shouldn't have had to purchase this separately.

PS5 Pro with this is incredible. Finding games at big discounts makes this worth it compared to the digital side. For PS4 games it's even better.

i ’m so glad I added this disc drive to my setup. The installation was incredibly simple and it snapped right into place. It runs very quietly and allows me to play all my physical PS4 and PS5 games without any issues. It’s also a great way to watch 4K Blu-ray movies in high quality!

This is a must have add on if you like physical games. It’s a little loud at times but overall games have been running great.

Adding this disc drive shouldn’t have been necessary but what’s the point of having the higher end version of a console with limited functionality. This will help at those times the physical copy is marked down less than the digital version when not on sale. Hopefully since my physical library of games will be small the less frequent use will allow the drive to survive indefinitely.

Easy to install and works great. It’s a nice way to keep playing my PS4 titles on this console, with a little added performance boost.

Arrived quickly and the installation was fast and easy. Pretty much plug and play. Works great so far no issues.

The disc drive is really easy to install. I always get nervous when adding or removing hardware from computers and consoles. But Sony/PS has made this super easy and nearly fool proof. The drive works well, albeit a bit loud when starting up. I have never had any issues with the disc drive and am happy that I have the ability to preserve my games on disc instead of digital copies.

My wife and I use the disk drive on my ps5 pro to watch bluray movies /TV shows and play physical copies of games. It works just as good as the regular ps5s disk drive but it's a lot quieter!

This works perfectly for my PS5 digital. I had PS4 games that I still wanted to play and this allowed me to play my games without any issues.

It works well and installs very easily. I can't say I'm thrilled to have to pay an extra charge to put a disc drive on an already expensive PS5 Pro. Still, for what it is, I'm satisfied.
