It actually is not as noisy as the drive on my og ps5. I still wish it was included with my ps5 pro I just purchased.

This is a must! Digital games are great but nothing like having a sweet copy of a game you love.

Picked this up for my digital playstation so I can start collecting physical games, the installation process was super easy and I really enjoy this product, would recommend for people that wana start getting physical games

Easy to install and the disc loads up quickly. Not as sturdy as id like with the new height tabs on the pro.

Nice to have this attachment but price is more than what I'd like to pay. But I have a lot of physical discs and movies so ended up shelling out for it. Aside from that, it works fine with the Pro.

Wanted to up grade my ps5 to the pro but wanted to keep my hard copy of games this came in handy and it was easy to install

The CD cartridge is a bit on the loud side, and it's also not intuitive with the way you need to face the media side of the CD... you face the media side AWAY from the body of your PS5. Though, there's been no other hiccups with this device.

Works great and is easy to install (and yes it comes with the longer standoffs so you don’t have to buy them separately), the only critic I have (other than the price and the fact that it should had been included with the console) is that is missing the disc orientation signs in the drive’s surface or in the installation manual because the first time I inserted the disc I did it “upside down”, with the reading side pointed towards the center of the console, as you might have imagined it would go if the console is in vertical position; but it turns out it’s the other way around, the reading side of the disc must face the exterior panel of the console. It didn’t damaged the disc but it would had been nice to know beforehand…

Works as advertised. Dont know why the bad reviews. I also purchased open box for great price and works perfect. A bit pricey consodering the ps5 pro is 699 but hey thats supply and demand for you. Overall does whats its suppose to do. 5 stars.
