You have to replace the PS5 or get it repaired with the digital PS5 and having a hard drive external if you have any problems you just gotta replace the hard drive not the whole PS5.

It was a little bit of a pain in the butt to get set up and going, but once it was ready, have had no issues.

Decent peripheral if you need it

That said: it's a very nice peripheral and if you want to add functionality to a regular Ps5 that accepts this (or a Pro), it was incredibly easy to do so, and worked with no issues.

Now, whether i want to get a new digital game or play one of my already purchased diac games, I'm good!

A bit noisy on initial turn on or playing of a disc but it goes back to being quiet.
