The sound quality, build quality, and comfort are all excellent. ANC works well enough but is not worth the price increase over the H7, which is the same headset as the H9 except without ANC. Obviously mic quality is trash as with any other headset, but it being non-detachable is a big disappointment. Battery life is fine but with ANC enabled it is pretty short, only about 15-20 hours. The software is nice and not a resource hog. Consider the HyperX Cloud II Wireless as an alternative, it is a fantastic gaming headset at a good price.

It's an ok headset, thats priced too high. The Active noise canceling is really good, but not really necessary for a gaming headset as there are headsets out there that have noise canceling ear pads, that are way better priced. I got to say that it is a comfortable headset, if not wearing for VR / PSVR2, not a good VR headset. Also at that price point, with no detachable mic? Headsets $150 cheaper have detachable mics. The permanent mic ruins the look of this headset. Not a bad headset, overall, but just not for me. There are more comfortable headsets out there that are just as good or better, with detachable mics, and are cheaper priced. The USB dongle may not work properly, kept getting audio static and distortion. I returned the H9 and got the razer blackshark v2 pro, which too me is way more comfortable, has a good price and has a detachable mic and noise canceling ear pads. Not looking at another sony Inzone series headset until they add a detachable mic, lower the price and add a version of the headset with nosie canceling ear buds instead, so they can sell it cheaper.

I have the original ps5 wireless headset. While that one was what you would expect from a 99$ product, the Sony h9 are well worth the retail price. As I own a pair of Astro a50s. Thought those were great. But they were quiet heavy and didn’t offer noise canceling or isolation even. These h9s are light weight yet built solidly and actually look nice. I didn’t think pictures and YouTube videos did them justice. They are very clean and futuristic looking. Obviously sony wanted to match the ps5 color scheme. Which is smart. But I like black and have changed my ps5 plates to reflect my style(see pics). I hope they offer at the very least a black variant. If not,maybe the full list of colors they offer for the ps5 plates(wishful thinking, I know) lol! As far as sound quality goes, these sound great in my opinion. Everyone if different and I respect, but I love audio and I am a bit of an audiophile. The sound quality won’t blow you away by any means. But the overall sound signature is very well balanced from very solid drivers. Vocals come through deep and clearly. Highs are clean and bass is adequate (not a bass head). 3D audio is amazing while gaming on the ps5. At least in horizon forbidden west since that’s mainly the game I play with my ps5. You can hear thunder as if it’s really above you. Directional audio is great too. You can tell exactly where the machines or enemies are coming at you from. For me personally I use noise canceling products every day of my life. From the gym, to driving in my car(Bose car audio with ANC) to using it at work. Some folks might think they don’t need noise canceling while gaming. That’s fine. But I myself needed this and love the anc on these headphones. I want to feel immersed In My games, if it’s story mode games on my ps5 or COD Warzone/metro exodus on my gaming pc. These block out almost all ambient noise. That plus the fact that the ear cups are perfect fitting to my large head and isolate noise even without using ANC. Sony leads the industry in this area so it makes sense to implement this into their gaming headphones lineup. Button are tactile and simple to remember and use they also are very placed. Mic sounds good from what all my online friends have stated. Tho I don’t actually talk on mics as I like to focus on footsteps and such.The inzone app works great with EQ customization if you desire. I leave it flat personally. I use spatial sound while playing warzone. Works well and I like it. You can hear footsteps clearly and if they are above or below you. You need that if you want to play well and not die a lot. I can’t say that in my case these are perfect. They are great and I’m happy. There is one issue with these headphones and that is they make me hot. I run hot normally. But the padding I’m guessing is too good because after about an hour im burning up lol. I can’t and won’t knock a star because most headphones make me hot and this may not effect you at all. But it is something to keep In mind if that’s a problem you deal with. Try them out and find out for yourself. Some might say the price is high but it’s right where it should be for the tech you are getting. These are higher end for sure. I personally think having a gaming headset is a great way to play! It gives you increased focus and dials in what is going on around you. The new Sony INZONE H9 are a fantastic way to get those advantages and it pairs perfectly with your PlayStation, PC, or mobile via Bluetooth! PROS: - Right out of the box these are ready to go and look beautiful! I love the white color, the one solid shell piece on each side, and overall they just have a nice quality feel to them. They also are not too heavy and feel very comfy on the ears which is vital for long term use. - It has various button controls on the bottom edge like changing to noise cancelling, pairing to Bluetooth, or a dial for changing the volume level. Along with that they charge via USB C which is a great future proofing move and is similar to the PS5 controllers - The connection versatility of these is excellent! They have a USB dongle you can use to connect to a PlayStation 5 or PC. On top of that, they can connect via Bluetooth if you want to use it on your phone for Discord or maybe just music. - The sound quality is great! You can change the tuning using the INZONE App but I think they sound great right away! On top of that, the Noise Cancelling is great. Really seals in the sound and helps you just be “In the zone” while gaming aka why the INZONE branding! - The Mic is also super useful and provides solid voice clarify. Its nice you can easily flip it up and down when you are not using and is great for playing with your teammates. - To confirm too, I used these Headphones on my PlayStation 5 and on my Gaming PC. The Headset was phenomenal on both! And it’s easy just to plug in the dongle from one to the other and get ready to play. - Along those lines too, just using these headphones to listen to music or watch movies/videos is a treat. The audio is crisp and clear, the bass is deep, and overall it really immerses me in whatever I am doing. CONS: - No touch controls for play/pause or next song. I know these are “Gaming” headphones but it still would be nice to have. - I also wish these headphones had haptic feedback aka the headphones vibrated when your controller does while playing the PlayStation 5. - The LED ring lights are cool but their is limited customization on them and when they come into play. BOTTOM LINE: - The Sony INZONE H9 are excellent high level wireless gaming headphones. They provide really rich solid sound, have noise cancelling, a crystal clear mic, and overall have a modern futuristic look to them. I know they are going to be my go to way to listen to sound while gaming on my PC and PlayStation 5, and I bet you will enjoy them too!

Sound is great straightforward connectivity if you're a endurance gamer you will sweat because of material. Had like a year and the band at top began to peel away. Comfort wise their ok.

On my 3rd pair. First was an open box and the mic didn't work, so I'll take that one with a grain of salt. the second pair the "leather" around the head bar, just came out, no reason it was sitting on my table I came back the next morning and it was apart. this last one the software to update it won't work. The headset is great when it works. Prob one of the most comfortable I've had in awhile even though its kind of bulky. sound is amazing I've turned it way up and been able to use them as speakers lol. Total noise cancelling. Fully immersive. Can jump from PS to PC on the fly and just as great on PC. If you pick this up, grab the extended just in case you need to swap it out. I would recommend because they are really good but be aware quality issues seem to be a thing.

Very Clcomfortable and good quality headset. A bit overpriced but nice to have the dual connection functionality with bluetooth and 2.4ghz. Very light but sturdy construction. My ears didnt experience much heat or discomfort from long gaming sessions. Noise cancellong features work quite well, the ambient sound control is a nice feature if you want to be able to hear others while playing. Using it on PC or Ps5 is a breeze and provides great 3D immersion. The chat/game audio fade button, as well as the volume knob, noise canceling and bluetooth sync built right into the headset make setting up and managing your sound a breeze. Battery life is great for the features being used (as long as you charge once a day you'll probablt never have it die on you. Also easy to charge bia usb and still use it). Some cons. The microphone boom is not detachable *but you can flip it up to mute which is nice. And the sound is weighted a little more to the bassy side. Highs aren't quite as sharp/well defined. Overall the sound quality is good but I'm being a bit picky since it is an expensive headset. Which is really my biggest gripe, if it was even $50 cheaper i think it would be a much better value. But if your a PC and PS5 gamer this is a good high end option.

I have only tested these on my PS5, had to upgrade from my old PULSE 3D headset since it was falling apart. The quality is pretty good from my usage on PS5. To mute the mic, simply lift the mic up). It feels comfortable for those 1-2 hour game sessions, never felt any pain around the ears or head. I can't say anything about the software, since I have yet to actually install it on my phone. I only use this for my PS5. My only recommendation is buying an OPEN-BOX one that is in good shape. I was able to get one for about $138. For the full price you may want to simply shop around.

sound is great, connectivity is great, very comfortable, but the reason why im only giving it 3 stars is because i purchased these to use mainly on my ps5 and the microphone is garbage, it picks up any little noise on the house, and there is no way to adjust it, even lowering the sensitivity all the way down on ps5, it is still very sensitive, it picks up my breathing which is very annoying to people in my voice chat. i would expect for the price a much better microphone design. i do love that i can connect to ps5 and iPad at the same time and hear sounds from both.

Compared to Sony's Pulse3D? This is far superior. Compared to Sony's XM4/XM5? Debatable. When it comes to gaming, I used my Pulse3D (now the H9). When it comes to everything else, I use my AirPods Max. My review is mostly comparing it to the Pulse3D, but the quality feels a lot better on the H9 versus the Pulse. Comfort-wise, these are tons better. My Pulse3D always felt off for some reason, they were good enough but still something was missing. The H9 feels amazing. Microphone-wise, no idea BUT every time I'd each my ear when gaming with my buddies, it'd sound I'm faarting, it always brought laughs, luckily (or unfortunately?) the way this mic is no more faart noises! Control-wise, I love the controls on this, the wheel for volume is a game-changer. Also it has noise-canceling & a headphone port! Anyway, it feels premium. I'm no expert in headphones so I can't compare it to high-end ones, but it definitely is better then the Pulse3D.

I bought these as a gift for friend who has a PS5 and works from home. She also switches from playing on both PC and PS5 quite often. While I completely acknowledge their are better wireless headsets available for better or similar pricing, the way this seemlessly works with the PS5 is invaluable. And the little dongle allows you to quickly switch from using it on the PS5 to using it for your PC. She does not game online but does take a lot of calls for work when using her PC, so the mic is certainly good enough for that. If you have a PS5 and want to keep the integration seemless and have a decently flexible budget, these are a great buy. Even if its value is maybe a little inflated (I feel that these should be about $100 cheaper), they do work very well for what they are. They are very comfortable (I tried them myself), they sound great, theyre lightweight, and they match your PS5 look. My biggest complaint for them that theyre pretty bulky and cant be stored easily. If they folded down or something, that wouldve been preferred. Like the XM4s. But the XM5s dont fold down either so theres that lol.

I bought these to replace my 7.1 Platinum Wireless headset for PS4 which itself was a replacement for my PS3 Wireless 7.1. Over the years I’ve tried a few other brands and I always gravitated back to the first-party Sony headsets. I’m sure the others had Sony beat in deep bass sound effects or something like that but I always preferred a more crisp, tinny sound as my purpose in playing with headsets was to get an advantage over my opponents, locating them and their direction of approach by their sound. I always found that the more bass-heavy headsets can drown out these finer sounds. All that being said, I am pleased to report the H9 Inzone headset delivers the sound quality I’ve come to expect from first-party headsets. Where these differ is in comfort and that’s a very good thing. I have an oversized cranium (no joke - it’s hard to find hats and sunglasses that fit me well) and these fit better than any of my previous headsets. Not only is the headband and the adjustment sliders sufficiently large, the over-ear cans are large too and they fully cover my ear whereas the PS3 and PS4 models acted more like on-ear cans for me. Some people may say the build quality is a bit questionable, especially at this price level, and they’re not wrong, but there is so much more to like about these that makes it worth it. In addition to sound quality, size, and comfort, I really like the collapsibility of these in comparison to those it is replacing. The older ones had hinges on the headband and the cans folded up into the center, which does make them smaller, but the H9 Inzone’s cans twist making them easier to lay flat and rest around your neck when you’re not using them. The one real critique, if you can call it that, that I have with the headset is that the advertised ambient noise feature that allows you to hear and respond to others in your vicinity while wearing the headset doesn’t work quite as well as you would think. It’s not as if you can easily carry on a casual conversation with a real live person while wearing these. You must devote a certain level of your focus on the other person in order to hear them in a comprehensive way. The reality though is that when I’m gaming I’m often off in my own little world anyway, so it was not really a selling feature for me to begin with. To summarized, I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase and would certainly recommend the H9 Inzone headset.

If you are getting this headset to use while gaming on a PC, then I would 100% recommend it. The audio sounds beautiful, the headset is very comfortable, and the battery life is incredible. The noise cancelling works pretty good as well as the dual connectivity. The reason I simply cannot give this product 5 stars though, is due to how awful the built in mic sounds. While this didn't bother me since I am using it on a PC setup with another microphone, if I only had the option to play on a PS5, the quality of the mic would be a dealbreaker. It quite literally sounds like you are speaking into a walkie-talkie from WWII. That and you can only access the INZONE Hub to adjust the audio if you have a computer.

The connection and audio quality are always excellent with Sony products on the PS5. I love that the mute feature is the best when gaming. It's easy; all you have to do is lift the mic to mute and lower it to unmute. The sound quality is also fantastic, and the headphones sit comfortably on my ears.

The audio quality on this headset is very good, the noise cancelling works great and they are super comfortable with an easy set up. The only complaint I have with this headset is that the microphone is SUPER sensitive, my friends can now even hear my stomach growling. They keep complaining that they can hear everything that I do in the background now and I have yet to figure out a way to turn the sensitivity down in the microphone. I even lowered it all the way in discord. Other than the microphone this headset is really good however given the price I would recommend the corsair virtuoso XTs for almost $100 cheaper and a superior product. if this headset is ever less than $200 I would recommend it but I think for $280-$300 there are better options with more advanced software

The sound on these headphones is like no other from the 3 I've had before, the noise canceling really does cancel out any outside noise, there's 3 sound settings but be careful with sound setting 2 because as soon as you press it theres this weird pressure in your ears for a moment, maybe i have sensitive ears but that is the true noise canceling option, besides that my only complaint is that they do slide off your head easily here and there, but overall this purchase was definitely worth it would recommend

So firts off these are expensive lets get that out the way. These are super comfortable and sound good. Only draw back in my eyes is battery which inwish was longer but it last plenty. I live the simultaneous bluetooth and 2.4 so watching ur phone in between matches is awaesome
