Great Sound Quality. Only Issue is I wish the Distance Range on them were a little Further. When I go to my kitchen they lose connection.

Awesome headphones! We bought 2 sets and they work great on our PS5's and laptops!

I bought these to replace my 7.1 Platinum Wireless headset for PS4 which itself was a replacement for my PS3 Wireless 7.1. Over the years I’ve tried a few other brands and I always gravitated back to the first-party Sony headsets. I’m sure the others had Sony beat in deep bass sound effects or something like that but I always preferred a more crisp, tinny sound as my purpose in playing with headsets was to get an advantage over my opponents, locating them and their direction of approach by their sound. I always found that the more bass-heavy headsets can drown out these finer sounds. All that being said, I am pleased to report the H9 Inzone headset delivers the sound quality I’ve come to expect from first-party headsets. Where these differ is in comfort and that’s a very good thing. I have an oversized cranium (no joke - it’s hard to find hats and sunglasses that fit me well) and these fit better than any of my previous headsets. Not only is the headband and the adjustment sliders sufficiently large, the over-ear cans are large too and they fully cover my ear whereas the PS3 and PS4 models acted more like on-ear cans for me. Some people may say the build quality is a bit questionable, especially at this price level, and they’re not wrong, but there is so much more to like about these that makes it worth it. In addition to sound quality, size, and comfort, I really like the collapsibility of these in comparison to those it is replacing. The older ones had hinges on the headband and the cans folded up into the center, which does make them smaller, but the H9 Inzone’s cans twist making them easier to lay flat and rest around your neck when you’re not using them. The one real critique, if you can call it that, that I have with the headset is that the advertised ambient noise feature that allows you to hear and respond to others in your vicinity while wearing the headset doesn’t work quite as well as you would think. It’s not as if you can easily carry on a casual conversation with a real live person while wearing these. You must devote a certain level of your focus on the other person in order to hear them in a comprehensive way. The reality though is that when I’m gaming I’m often off in my own little world anyway, so it was not really a selling feature for me to begin with. To summarized, I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase and would certainly recommend the H9 Inzone headset.

If you are getting this headset to use while gaming on a PC, then I would 100% recommend it. The audio sounds beautiful, the headset is very comfortable, and the battery life is incredible. The noise cancelling works pretty good as well as the dual connectivity. The reason I simply cannot give this product 5 stars though, is due to how awful the built in mic sounds. While this didn't bother me since I am using it on a PC setup with another microphone, if I only had the option to play on a PS5, the quality of the mic would be a dealbreaker. It quite literally sounds like you are speaking into a walkie-talkie from WWII. That and you can only access the INZONE Hub to adjust the audio if you have a computer.

sound is great, connectivity is great, very comfortable, but the reason why im only giving it 3 stars is because i purchased these to use mainly on my ps5 and the microphone is garbage, it picks up any little noise on the house, and there is no way to adjust it, even lowering the sensitivity all the way down on ps5, it is still very sensitive, it picks up my breathing which is very annoying to people in my voice chat. i would expect for the price a much better microphone design. i do love that i can connect to ps5 and iPad at the same time and hear sounds from both.

satisfied but have so many issues connecting to my laptop often, once connected, everything works as it should. These have a better signatures sound for gaming compared to just using XM4 but unlike the xm4 they looks ugly.

The connection and audio quality are always excellent with Sony products on the PS5. I love that the mute feature is the best when gaming. It's easy; all you have to do is lift the mic to mute and lower it to unmute. The sound quality is also fantastic, and the headphones sit comfortably on my ears.

I was not 100 percent sure to buy it but as soon as I got them, the sound is immersive and very clear, soft to wear, easy to install as plug and play, definitely recommended

TL;DR: overall good, head band is uncomfortable but I'm bald so that might be why I picked these up mostly just hoping the noise canceling would be similar to my XM4's, and it is. Overall I'm happy with these, but the head band is really uncomfortable. Note, I'm bald, so this might not be an issue for those with hair. I can feel it's cushion depressing against my head, and it's not like it's bottoming out, but I think the headphones weigh enough that the headband puts a lot of pressure on the top of my head. It took me a while to figure out I have to "turn" the headphones so the band is at the very peak of my forehead to be mostly comfortable. Otherwise, such as wearing it in the middle of my head, it doesn't hurt but it's definitely not comfortable. Beyond that, sound quality is good, mic sounds good, noise canceling is good, button placement and whatnot is good, etc. The software for Windows works well, and the headset even works well under Linux (Debian 12) with no real need to futz with anything. Solid buy overall, just need to figure out a solution for the head band comfort.

I bought this for my brother as a gift cause I have the white Inzone H9s. Bought those when they first came out. They're great headsets for the PS5, but they are pricey. My review changes for this one because the black looks better, and I found it on sale. So I hope you can as well. The best feature is being able to connect to your PS5 using the dongle, and then to your phone as well using Bluetooth. This is perfect for those cross play sessions when you are using Discord to chat with others through your phone, and while you play on your PS5. Anyone who has tried to transfer the Discord chat to your PS5 understands that it can be frustrating. This elimantes that. The Inzone H9s are also compatible with your PC. BUY on a sale.
