There is nothing wireless near the PS5 that would cause interference. Have gone back to the standard PS5 wireless headset which perform fine in the same location.

My Favorite Headphones Ever

My first impression on opening the box was good. It’s well packaged without wasted material. The headset is a bit on the larger size. They are VERY comfortable. I am a big fan of the engineering that went into the design of these things. They are aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable. So it was time to charge them up and give them a try. I downloaded and installed the Inzone Hub app. To get the most out of these headphones you need this software and need to enable spatial sound. There is a solid basic equalizer and control over the noise cancelling option. I would say that all in all its pretty solid software. After a bit of charging and having the software installed and the headset paired to my PC it was time to have some fun. Come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination. This line from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory kept running thru my head. I didn’t start testing my headphones out by gaming as I had planned. I went to YouTube and searched 3D Audio. My mind was blown. Video after video of remixed classic music or sound effects and I just couldn’t stop listening. I gave them to my girlfriend to listen to for a bit and she didn’t want to give them back! Once I got them back I did settle into a night of gaming. Rode some roller coasters, battled some orcs and played some baseball. These headphones are amazing. Every once in a while I want to rate something 6*s. This is one of those times. They up the gaming experience it a really fun way. The sounds of the games never felt so 3 dimensional…so REAL before. For me, these things are just about perfect. They also have really solid battery life and a great noise cancelling feature. The microphone works very well. There isn’t a single thing bad to say about these things. They are a bit expensive, but this is one of those cases where I think the level of quality makes it worth it. If I had a friend looking for some high level gaming headphones I would absolutely recommend

We use premium materials with our headphones just like the soft headband cushion and synthetic leather ear pads for wearing comfort. If the effect of noise canceling isn't sufficient, please try the following:
Make sure the noise canceling function is turned on. You can check the noise canceling settings with “INZONE Hub”.
Put on the headset snugly to a comfortable position.
The noise canceling function is effective for noise in low frequency ranges in locations such as offices, near air conditioners, on trains, and on planes and is not as effective for noise in higher frequencies, such as human voices.
For optimum performance, please ensure the software is updated to version 01.002.005. We'll also take not of your feedback regarding the microphone.

While connected to a game console (computer or PS5™)
• Check that both the headset and the connected device are turned on.
• Adjust the volume of the headset and the connected device. Turn up the volume if it is too low.
• Make sure the in-game voice chat output setting is set to [INZONE H9 / INZONE H7 - CHAT].
• Check the call settings of the in-game voice chat and video calling application.
• If the boom microphone of the headset is raised, lower the boom microphone and adjust its position so that it is near your mouth.
• Adjust the GAME/CHAT (game/chat balance) button to the chat side.
• Make sure that the microphone setting is set to [INZONE H9 / INZONE H7 - CHAT] in the sound settings of the computer.
• When connected to a computer, adjust the microphone volume with “INZONE Hub”.
• Connect the headset to the USB transceiver again.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return them within 24 hours its a late review but the things i notice right away is that any noise in your background IF your in a party or in a multiplayer lobby or streamjng they will hear it clear on their end which is annoying if they’re trying to concentrate so if you play any battle royale’s not recommended  and when you’re playing a battle royale, and you hear footsteps, it sounds like you hear a lot more than what there is sounds like there’s too much going overall save your money and wait for some Astros to come out in 2023 (if they do)

Great Gaming Headset for PS5
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using these for a little over a week with my PS5 and various games but mostly GTA Online. This is my first gaming headset and it's outstanding! The sound is crisp and clear and the 360 spatial sound makes it feel like you're in the game. Noise cancelling blocks out external sounds and the microphone comes through loud and clear on the other end according to friends. Comfort wise, these are large but they are comfortable for long use and the ear cushions are replaceable which extends the life of the headset. That's a nice feature considering the price but would be even better if they came with 1 free replacement set. The external controls are easy to use and to find by touch. I also like the ability to mute the microphone by simply flipping it up. Setup was easy with these being Sony. I plugged the USB stick into the front of my PS5 and they paired immediately. If you're worried that having a USB stick on the front of your PS5 ruins the look, this has a cool white LED ring that mimics the look of the PS5 lights, so it fits right in with the unit. Over a 7-8 period using these for probably 15 hours, I've only lost 1 bar on the battery meter, so the battery life is legit. Overall, these have improved my gaming and are a high quality headset that I would recommend to anyone!

My Best Headset Yet!

I don't like the look of them, because it seemed like Eskimo earmuffs, but the sound and the comfort are unbelievable! I wish I had whatever's used in these headphones for my Bluetooth headset. The clarity is unbelievable, and the noise cancellation feature is probably the best in any headphones I've ever had for gaming system so far! When I was online playing a four-player game with a few of my family members, they said I sounded like I was in the same room with them. I wanted to see how long I can use the headphones without recharging, and I clocked in a total of 31 hours before I had to plug it up for a recharge. The microphone felt a little bit cheap, but I love the fact that you can just flip it up to mute it, and flip it back down to be heard. I really love how you can hear detailed sounds of the zombies in the game I was playing! This is definitely a must-have for any hardcore gamer who loves small details like hearing smallest sound in the game that you would have missed on regular TV speakers.

Works well on pc especially with the inzone hub app for windows which gives you all the extras. Mine had a firmware update available so that was my first priority before trying them out. Sony recommends using the usb receiver for the update in case it has updates as well. The inzone app is required to take advantage of the advanced features on pc and only works with the receiver (on pc) not with bluetooth. It gives you the spatial sound and an equalizer plus several other options so you will likely want to use it for gaming and music. The equalizer is nice for music but didn't have as much effect as my music player's equalizer (windows media player) so for music I don't necessarily use inzone. The headphones are comfortable and light but a bit bulky. No case included so you may want to save the box for storage when not using them. Boom microphone which turns off when you move it up out of the way. I personally prefer a built in microphone but many prefer the boom which does give better sound. They also got a bit warm after a couple of hours use but I was probably due for a break by then anyway. No voice prompts for settings just beeps. If you have a ps5 these may be the ultimate headset for it. I don't have one so I'm using them on pc. Apparently some features work on ps5 without need for the app. Also they seem styled to match the ps5. They are also a good choice for pc though I prefer my Razer Barracuda Pro set which Best Buy also sells.

A premium gaming headset with some minor drawbacks
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has stepped up their game with the N9 Headset by bringing their experience with ANC to this gaming headset. Positional audio is excellent, and I had little trouble discerning directinonal sounds, especially in FPS games. I have primarily used the N9 with the included dongle, to avoid experiencing BT lag while gaming. The N9s are extremely comfortable to wear and with noise cancelling turned on, all but the higher frequency sounds in the background disappear. This helps to eliminate distractions around you while gaming, but without being oblivious to your environment. I have tried using this with a BT connection to my phone, and while it may not be intended towards this type of use, it does work. However, I found that with the lack of a dedicated app, like their smartphone app for WH series headphones, left me struggling to find the clarity across the full frequency range with any song I played. Also, in this setup, the N9s had bass, but really needed a way to adjust it. I realize that the Sony N9s are designed with a color scheme to appease their PS5 users, and to an extent, PC gamers. Unfortunately, I found lackluster performance outside of gaming, such as movie watching, listening to streaming music and general Windows use. Are they a great sounding gaming headset? Yes, they are. What they are not, is Sony’s WH-1000XM3/4/5 headphones. The noise cancelling is great on the N9, but it works a bit different than Sony’s headphone line. The N9 is a capable and premium gaming headset, which is good for what it was designed for, gaming. It was a night and day difference for me once I moved on from evaluating them with solely music and jumped into gaming with them. They are extremely comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions and do not get warm or sweaty. The comfort of the N9 is premium, with as much attention paid to this as they put into the sound quality of them. Ultimately great for gaming, but not for audiophile level music listening.

Please take note, when you raise the boom microphone, the microphone is turned off, the Sidetone function deactivates, and the voice chat sound will be muted.
