This headset was very easy to set up straight out of the box. It also came with a quick start guide and a charging cable. Upon plugging the USB transceiver into your PC, the INZONE Hub software installs itself and is ready for pairing. The headset came already charged, so it could simply be turned on and ready for listening after a few seconds of connecting. The headset can also be easily paired over Bluetooth to your phone or any other Bluetooth device. When putting the headset on, I was amazed by how comfortable it is. The earpads and headband are the softest of any headphones I have owned, and everything is adjustable to fit any head shape. This means the headset is never too tight and you can almost forget that you are wearing it. The audio quality when listening to music is exceptional, and every frequency range is equally clear and balanced. In addition, the INZONE Hub software lets you tweak the equalizer to perfectly fit your preferred sound. It also lets you create multiple sound profiles so you can hear the most important frequencies in music, movies, and while gaming. There is also the spatial sound mode which lets you hear audio in 360 degrees around your head and can give you an edge while gaming. Another great feature of the headset is the noise cancelling and ambient sound modes. When there is a constant background noise, the noise cancelling mode is great at lowering the volume of it or even remoting it completely. On the other hand, when you want to keep the headset on but still hear other outside sounds such as someone speaking to you, the ambient sound mode is amazing. Everything sounds natural and at a normal volume as if you don't even have the headset on. There wireless range of the headset is also best in class. I was able to walk multiple rooms away and even step outside my house with audio still coming through. The microphone on this headset conveniently stays out of your way when not in use since it can swivel upwards and auto mute. The microphone works as you would expect when gaming or chatting with friends, outputting a clear and loud signal. The audio quality of the mic isn't anything special however. It does what it's supposed to but can sound a little flat and probably wouldn't be great for recording videos. Finally, a fantastic feature of this headset is the ability to play from multiple sources at once. To start off, the headset presents separate game and chat audio devices to your PC. The INZONE Hub software then lets you control the balance between the two sources, to your liking. In addition, the headset can play audio from both your PC/PS5 transceiver and your Bluetooth connected phone at the same time. This is a convenient feature that not many other products support. It is very nice not having to constantly switch which device the headset is paired to. Overall, this is probably the best and most modern headset I have ever owned and has become my go-to headset for daily use. You really get what you pay for with all the luxury features and customization available to you.

Setting up the headphones was easy. For the usb connection, all I had to do was plug in the transceiver and turn on the headphones and it worked. The build quality of these headphones is great. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They feel sturdy and like they will be durable. I confirmed with Sony that the earcups are replaceable which i thought is also is great. I appreciated that it utilized physical buttons for the onboard controls. The headphones fold flat which is nice for transport. The Bluetooth button doubles as controls for music playback. The sound quality of these headphones is superb. I’ve sunk hours of fortnite and it’s really easy to tell which way sound effects and gunfire. I’ve also used them for music playback and I thought they sounded great considering this is a gaming headset. The active noise cancellation works really well, it blocks out a lot of ambient noise. The mic is really nice as well. I love that the mute button is flipping up the the mic; it’s very intuitive. The standout feature of these headphones is the ability to connect to two audio sources at the same time; one via Bluetooth and the other via a USB transceiver that utilizes a 2.4ghz wireless connection. The USB transceiver can be used with a computer or a PlayStation. and As a PS5 and discord user, this feature is a game changer. There is a little learning curve to how to how to control the volume but once it’s understood it works really well. Overall I thought these are great headphones if you are looking for a gaming headset for your PlayStation or computer.

These headphones are really sleek and good-looking. They are definitely the most comfortable headphones-gaming or otherwise-that I have ever owned. The padding around the ears and on the top of the head is very soft and cushy. They are tight enough without being so tight that they would become uncomfortable after a long session. There are multiple modes of operation. They have the ability to provide normal sound function, an ambient sound mode to allow ambient noise in, and a noise-canceling function to totally immerse yourself in the gaming experience. There is a selector to switch between game and chat modes. The sound is crystal clear and well-balanced. As far as I've found, there is no app to change the sound settings, but that has not been an issue for me. The USB Bluetooth connector has a simple switch to change from Playstation to PC use. I have only used the Playstation mode, but I'm sure the PC mode is just as good. It charges really quickly, and I have found that I have not had to recharge yet after about 20 hours of game play. The microphone seems to come across loud and clear based on feedback from my friends. I would highly recommend these headphones.

First I want to say that I am NOT an avid gamer but do like to play on occasion. I especially like using the VR headset and the immersion that comes with it. Prior to the Inzone headset, the headset I was using was okay but now I realize some of its shortcomings. First and foremost is comfort! This headset fits well and is considerably lighter than my corded headset. The earpads are comfortable over my ears and getting things adjusted are pretty easy. The controls are easy to access and took no time to get used to. As for the controls, this is where I realized one of the shortcomings of my old headset. Since this headset has the ability to adjust how much ambient noise I hear, I can now play the game AND still listen to things or people around me. My other headset shut out all noise so I wasn't able to hear my phone ring if needed. Sound quality is really good, so much so that some background noises I had to make sure weren't actual noises in the room. The microphone is okay and easily swings out of the way when not needed. Not surprising, the headset pairs well with the PS VR headset. Overall, a leap beyond the previous gaming headset!

I have had the good fortune to try out several headsets for gaming, music, movies, etc. The Sony INZONE H9 wireless gaming headset is probably the best I've ever used. Just like you'd expect, the packaging was sound as well as visually appealing but once out of the box and on your head, the first thing you notice is the comfort. They are extremely lightweight and you don't even realize you have them on after a while. Initial setup was simple and took no time at all. Also something that should be an expectation with products these days. The surround sound is fantastic, you hear everything around you very clearly and at times might make you look behind you just in case it wasn't from the headset! The tone and bass are extremely good. I like my sound to be up pretty loud and there has yet to be any distortion. In regards to the microphone, those on the opposite end said that it was very clear and picked up my voice perfectly without a lot of the background noise that was going on at the time. Sony is one of the best in the sound arena. You will not be disappointed in this headset.

Awesome ! Got these for my son and he lives them . The noise cancelling is great .Don’t hurt his ears . His old pair hurt his ears . These he can wear up to 5 hours without them hurting .The battery life is really great .

I had a pair of arctis 7 headphones for a while. They were ok. I went in best buy looking for a comfortable pair for my big head, tried every set on the rack and these and the arctis pro were the best. These were by far the most comfortable! Almost feels like you sont habe them on. If your looking for comfortable headphones that sound good and work flawalessy with ps5! Sony knocked this one out of the park!

I love Sony’s headphones. I’ve used them since the old Walkman cassette days. They’ve always blended comfort with quality sound. At technology has improved, so have the headphones. The H9 are the latest release showcasing Sony’s dedication to quality and comfort. These headphones work great on my Alienware laptop, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Surround sound has a great sound stage and the low frequency signal still sounds punchy for headphones. The noise cancelation works great, so don’t use these on a train or bus unless you want to miss your stop! Sony’s gaming hub software makes it easy to tweak the headphones. Paired with the PlayStation 5, these blow the “official ps5 headphones” out of the water. Sound is much richer, and I’m told by gaming buddies that my voice on the microphone sounds better. Spatial 3D audio works fairly well. When in a Halo or Call of Duty firefight, it’s fairly easy to tell when you are getting shot from behind, or other sounds from the environment. Comfort is great on these too. Air vents on the sides whisk excess sweat away so you don’t get ear soup in the cups. The soft leather-like material is comfortable without becoming grimy after long play sessions. Aesthetically, these fit with Sony’s gaming line perfectly. They look like a ps5 product. Looks a little out of place with my black laptop or Xbox, but sounds great regardless. The white is a dirty fingerprint magnet, but wipes easily with a microfiber cloth. Also, while most people think only of this as a gaming headset, it works great for listening to movies on the ps5 as well. The drivers have decent bass so action movies sound rich and punchy. Overall, these have a multitude of uses so they earn their price tag.

Best headset I've used. Love the noise cancellation and the crispness of the audio. The INZONE Hub app for PC is very user friendly and very customizable. I love the design and works with my all white PC build perfectly. Comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. Price was on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.

This headset is amazing, I hear things my friends never do and it has amazing noise cancellation. The mic mutes when you push it up and battery lasts forever. I’ve had these for a year now and it’s been the best headset I’ve ever had.

Great gaming headphones, but the “leather”/foam across the top and along the earcups is separating from the housing. Mic is almost too sensitive and doesnt have adjustability to move away from mouth/nostrils to where doesnt pick up breathing. The mic is basically on or off. They are however super comfortable and the aound is good. I like the 3D capabilities of the sound when gaming. Its a really cool feature for competitiveness.

This is amazing for PS5, even if it’s advertised to work on PC, I don’t believe it’s a good idea. I rate it based on my console experience. I heard my fried who uses PC was underwhelmed which is understandable.
